The guys and I spent most of the day relaxing then when we go there we all got ready for tonight. I took a shower earlier so I just changed into some black skinnies a purple keystreet shirt with my boots. It's raining so I pulled on a gray PTV zip up jacket. I applied winged eyeliner and mascara. I dried my hair and tried to decide what to do with it. "What should I do with my hair?" I asked walking out of the bathroom. Tony was the only one still here since the others went to set up. He wanted to wait for me. "Uh come here." He said. I shrugged and sat in front of him. He was silent for a few minutes then took a picture and showed me. He French part of one side of my hair by my face making it look almost shaved and then added it to another larger braid with all of my hair and flipped it over my shoulder leaving my bangs down. I raised an eyebrow and he just shrugged. "Let's go." I said and grabbed my phone. He nodded and we stepped out into the rain. I jumped on his back and he just laughed. "Giddy up!" I yelled and he laughed again before running to the venue. We got inside and I jumped down laughing.
Walking over to the side stage I saw a tall guy saying something in an earpiece he waved at Tony and smiled at me as we joined in watching All time lows set. "That's SWS manager." Tony whispered in my ear. I nodded in acknowledgement. "What time do you go on?" I asked turning around. "After mayday parade who is next by the way." He said and I smiled. I started singing along with Alex and saw him wink in my direction. "Alright guys we are gonna slow it down now." He yelled and the crowd cheered. The rest of the band left and he was handed his acoustic and a stool. "I was wondering if a friend of mine would come out and help me, what do you think guys?" The crowd cheered again and he looked at me. "Come one little bird." He coped earning some laughs. I flipped him off and was handed a mic as I entered the stage. They really need to quit surprising me.
"Guys this is Wren." I heard someone catcall as I flipped my hair over my shoulder and made my way to Alex. "Hey none of that. That's my little sister. Well, close enough." I looked at Alex and smiled brightly he smiled back at me. "So wanna help me sing one of my song?" He asked and I made a face. "I'll sing with you on one of yours." He said and I sighed?, "Fine." The crowd cheered and a still was brought out for me. We harmonized a little then he started Remembering Sunday. I sang the Chorus with him then did the female part. He smiled as the crowd cheered. "Okay I made a promise so we must do one o Wrens songs." Everyone cheered again as Jack ran out with another stool and Alex handed me his acoustic. "Okay guys this song is very important to me so listen up. This is Lydia's Song." I heard very loud cheers and shot a look at Jack he shrugged and mouthed Internet. I nodded and played the opening chords like always but, this time Alex sang the scale with me and I started quietly like always and then rose my voice. Alex did the chorus with me and sang as I screamed the next part. He sang the chorus with me again and dropped out so I could finish alone. He smiled as the crowd roared when we were finished. "I know she's great right? Well let's get out of your hair. You guys like mayday parade? Well even if you don't they are here anyway." He yelled earning cheers as we left the stage. I hugged Alex then flicked Jacks nose.
As soon as we hit back stage they went for a shower and I was handed a bottle of water. I looked up to see the person that handed me the water was SWS manager. He smiled at me. "You are very talented." He said and I nodded, "Thank you." I said. He smiled and held out his hand. "I'm sure you know by now but I'm the manager for Sleeping with sirens. My name is Max." He said and I nodded while shaking his hand. It was pointless to introduce myself since he knows my name so I stayed silent. He was much more down to earth than I thought he would be. "I wanted to talk to you about opening for Sleeping with sirens, Pierce the veil, and Memphis May Fire." I nodded with a huge smile. "If that works out I've talked to Fearless Records and they would love to sign you." He continued and I nodded. He handed me a clip board with papers and stood patiently as I read everything over twice before signing and then shook hands with me again before disappearing. I smiled hugely and turned to follow the noise to find the boys. I found PTVs dressing room and they were all just sitting around or playing random stuff. I plopped down next to Tony. "Where were you?" Vic asked. "We saw Alex walk by but no you." I shrugged keeping a poker face and looked at my cell. "Oh you know just getting it official that I'm opening for you next year and then singing with Fearless Records I said as if it was no big deal." They all gaped at me before cheering. I smiled at them. No way would I have believed any of this could happen. My life has changed so much in the past few days. I cheered with them and we were all laughing when a confused Kellin walked in.
"Whats going on?" He asked, "We could hear you from down the hall." He said and we all looked at each other daring each other to tell him. Vic gave in and explained while the rest of us waited. Kellins eyes got huge and I walked over and hugged him. He laughed and spun me around. I rolled my eyes as he muttered something about telling everyone and ran out. Most of the night was a happy blur as I watched everyone perform.
