Juliett's POV:
Flashback:
I was eight years old when the Rogers first moved into my town. Bailey was already living there and his parents were apparently frenamies with mine. There were two sections of our neighborhood; the rich side - which is where Bailey the Baby lived and the not so rich, but also not poor side - where my parents belonged to.
Romeo's family for some reason chose to live on our side and I soon found out it was because Mrs. Rogers wanted her kids to grow up regular and unspoiled. But, that didn't stop Baby Bailey from killing the Romeo that I once loved and left him destroyed and into a monster.
Mom at that time always had a big mouth and she just loved fighting with Bailey's mom. But, that's not how I remembered her when I was four. When I was younger, my mom had long black hair and blue eyes like me, but as I got older she changed. She then had short and curly brown hair, and tanned skin with a sinister smile always plastered on her face for me.
Anyway, I had seen Romeo when I was playing outside and I took an immediate liking to him. And it was not just because of his looks, which by the way attracted a lot of girls to him. He had spiky brown hair and the cutest baby face. While I had long brown hair, which later on got darker and darker, and a small little face with big, blue cat eyes, which I dreaded the most!
So, I walked over to him and introduced myself.
"Hi, I'm Juliett. You must be our new neighbors." I said.
"Yeah. Hi, my name's Romeo." he replied, with a smile.
After little Romeo had told me his name, I had a feeling inside of me that we were going to turn out to be really good friends. And we were, but only for a little while. Whenever we were together, I would stand up straight and always have a smile on my face, because I wanted to show Romeo and let him know that I was perfect for him.
Bailey used to make fun of us, by saying that Romeo was a murderer and I was a hoe -- where he learned that word, I have no idea. The reason why he called us that was because in the play Romeo & Juliett, Romeo murdered Juliett's cousin and Juliett agreed to marry Romeo on their first meeting. I thought that was stupid, but always felt bad, even though I had like no idea what a hoe was at that time.
After Bailey found out that Romeo was filthy, stinking rich - which was at Romeo's 9th birthday party - he began his little plan. He first got Romeo on his side and then the real torture began. Romeo played along with everything and he didn't even think twice about it. Romeo ignored me, he didn't want me anymore, so he just shut me out of his life and made me feel unwanted. Unwanted by everyone; my parents and him!
I just didn't understand how he just chose the person who always made fun of him over someone whose always helped him. He never talked to me again -- just about me -- and it hurt so much. I tried to get him back as my friend again, I really did, but it failed. My heart ached so much for him and for so long.
I thought I was alone forever...but then I met Riley and Randy. Riley always wore a hat over his head, but he had the same spiky hair as Romeo, only it was blonde and he had chocolate brown eyes. Whereas Randy had short dark brown hair that swept across his forehead and matching eyes. They were both so protective over me and were always ready to fight Romeo and Bailey.
A few years later -- four to be precise -- mom and dad made us move and I was happy, but also very sad. Happy that I would be getting away from Bailey, but sad because I was leaving Randy and Riley.
When I moved, my life at home got worser, but I learned to deal with the pain. And that was by thinking of Romeo. Every time something bad happened in my life, I imagined it was Romeo who was causing it and I would then beat the shit out of the problem. I learned to live on my own and make the best out of everything. I got my own food, my own electronics, and I got my own money. I tried getting a job, but it's really hard for a teenage girl like me to get hired in a place like mine. So, I ended up stealing from people. When I was like five or six, mom taught me how to make a cute baby face and lie to get things my way. And I used that strategy when I was fourteen or fifteen, but in a completely different way.
Like once I dressed up like a total slut and went to the park around 11:00 at night. There I met this guy, his name was Ashley, which was a total weird name for a guy, but he was really hot. But, he was a total player and I knew if from the look he gave me. Before I left the house, I put on some oil that made your skin look sexy. And I could see that he enjoyed what he saw. I smiled as it was all going exactly the way I had planned.
Ashley and I hung out for a while, ate, danced, and then he took me to a motel. There it went my way, instead of Ashley's plan, my plan kicked in. I first got him naked with only his boxers on. Then I tied him up with some extra tight rope that I had bought. Lastly, I went rummaging through his pants and shirt looking for some money. Ashley was a rich guy and he apparently carried around cigarettes and other things that my parents were interested in, so I took those as well as a souvenir for them. Then left him like that.
"Sorry, Ash, but I'm not a slut." I told him before leaving.
And after that, I never saw him again, but I did meet other guys that were like him. So far, I've never been caught and I don't planning on looking back. It's like I had a little gang myself, with only me in it. I guess Romeo's actually done some good to me; he made me tough and I'm loving it!
