Romeo's POV:
After I got up the next morning, I went on with my usual routine; brush teeth, take shower, get dressed in only the hottest clothes ever, spray on my favorite cologne - which I had a whole collection of with different scents - and head downstairs for my some breakfast. But, today, instead of heading straight for the delicious food I knew was already set up on the table, I took a detour to where Juliett's room was.
She was still sound asleep. I took a seat on the edge of her bed and looked down at her. She looked so cute and innocent and angelic as a few rays of the sun peeked through her curtains and rested on her face. Her thin body rose up and down as she took each breath and there was a slight smile displayed on her lips as she took part in whatever dream she was having.
All of a sudden, before I could even stop myself, I started leaning forward. I stopped when my mouth was only inches away from those beautiful lips of hers. I have never wanted to kiss anyone as badly as I wanted to right now. But, I realized then by doing that Juliett would awake and then probably get really pissed at me, so I moved my head away and aimed my mouth over her left ear.
I screamed as loud as I could into it and in seconds, her eyes snapped open and she jolted up and awake. I laughed as I saw the frightened expression on her face and quickly got up to go over to the large floor to ceiling window.
"Rise and shine, Sleeping Beauty!" I shouted. I pushed open her pink drapes to allow the gushing rays of the sunlight to come in and greet her.
"Rome-o!" Juliett groaned, before dumping her head back onto her pillow and pulling the comforter up over her head. "It's way too early!"
"Oh come on, Princess, it's your first day of school; new place, new school, new friends, and a new day. Come on, hurry and get up."
"No!" she cried. "I don't wanna go! And don't call me Princess!" I found myself chuckling at her. Juliett drew back the comforter a little to squint at me. "What's so funny?" she demanded to know.
"You sound just like a little kid." I told her. And it was true, she sounded absolutely adorable.
"I do not!" she whined.
"Yes, you do," I shook my head at her, still laughing. "Now come on, you're gonna make us all late."
I heard Juliett sigh deeply and then huff loudly as she pushed herself up. "Fine." she muttered.
"Good girl, not go on and get dressed as fast as you can and come down for some breakfast."
I left her room to let her be and went down into the kitchen to get some food. I took my usual seat at the table and got down to eating my cereal. Riley sat across from me, scarfing down a sandwich. Randy wasn't here with us - as expected. We were both quiet, the only sound coming from the kitchen. After taking a few gulps of my remaining milk, I finally started the conversation.
"Hey, Riley, I'm a little worried." I said to him.
"About what?" he asked me, not looking up.
"About Juliett." that was enough to get his entire attention. He put down his sandwich and finally looked at me with concerned eyes.
"Why? What's wrong with her?"
"Well, nothing - yet," I told him. "But, now that she's going to be staying with us, I'm just kind of worried she might find out about Randy and he'll end up hurting her."
Riley opened his mouth to say something, but at the same time a different voice was heard over us.
"Who might hurt who?"
