Theron looks at her brother confused, "A duel? You of all people want a duel?" Her blood began to boil Clyde, and Raleigh watching unsure if they should interfere or not. "How many times have you turned your back to me when I demanded the same!" She shouts in anger. Loki walks closer, a slight grin on his face. "I understand your hesitation forgive me, but after the rush of battle, I've had a little change of heart. I think I have decided to take the title of War master after all, and who better to prove myself on than against the strongest warrior in the land." "What!" Clyde blurts out, seemingly a little taken back by Loki's sudden change in character. Loki would only look towards him, giving a wink.
For now, he would stand back and watch, unsure of what Loki was doing. Before anyone else could say anything, the current War master spoke. "Very well then, son, let's get on with it then. I'd know you'd see it my way one day." Theron excepted what was happening, despite her misgivings about it. Everyone still alive cleared out of the battlefield, and into the stands, the silence broken up into extreme excitement, it wasn't everyday they got to see a fight like this. It would seem the devils had forgotten their loss as well, eager to see how it might play out. Loki, and Theron faced each other as Dave began to Signal them to start. "Alright kids, I want a good honorable fight, and go all out." They said nothing ready to begin. "Alright 3, 2, 1, fight!"
Theron charged in a hammer crackling with electricity, Loki not moving at all. She attempted to slam the hammer into him, but he moved out of the way just in time, not scratching him in the slightest. She would keep up her assault, failing to hit him each time. "Stop playing around, and take this seriously, brother!" He laughed, jumping high above her and shooting a giant fireball that engulfs her. When it dissipates, she is shown to be unhurt, her armor slightly singed. Her body is suddenly engulfed in sparks as she herself leaps into the air seemly to Loki's surprise managing to land a blow, and knock him back to the ground. She didn't stop there, she slammed the hammer over and over on his body, flattening him like pizza dough.
"I've been chasing after you for years. I wanted you to look at me to praise me, to say we are at the same level! But all you did was turn away and leave!" She said as she turned his body two-dimensional. Loki's shadow started to move and creep behind her. He rose out of it slowly, looking a little sad, like he didn't realize the effect he had on his sister. Regaining his composer, he got her attention with a blast of, almost knocking her over but planting her feet in ice. She growled, breaking it with her hammer, chasing after him. He would shoot more, and more different attacks of different elements varying from fire, and ice, to earth. She was landing more hits on him now. It persisted for a while like this, destroying most of the battlefield.
They both stopped to catch their breath, Loki seemed to be a little more tired than he expected to be his outfit ruined to his disappointment. "Come on, sister, you can do better than that. What do you say, let's finish this?" His hands glowed and light wrapped around his body as he charged at her, she met him head on. "Agreed!" They became incredibly fast like a blur of light clashing against each other over, and over. It looked like both of them were very close in strength. Loki landed another hit on Theron, knocking her back down to the floor, it was now time for the final blow, the next hit would take her out for sure. Theron rose to her feet ready to take it, but that hit never came, He looked down at her smiling, and nodding at her. She frowned but seemed to understand, landing the last blow with her mighty hammer instead knocking him out.
The crowd roared loving the outcome not seeming to really notice what happened at the end, Dave was the same seeming to have some new-found respect for his daughter. "Fuck yeah that's my daughter bitches." Loki would rise from the rubble, his sister helping him up. He looked a little sad. "I'm sorry Theron, I honestly had no idea you felt that way. Perhaps I was only thinking of myself all along." She glared at him. "Why? Why did you let me win? You know I won't be satisfied with that. I had no clue just how far I need to reach was until now." She asks. "You'll have to forgive me for that too. I did it for this world. In a strange way I still care for it dearly, and no one is better suited to run the world then you sister. Our father never seemed to get that until now." She looked a little lost, but seemed to understand the reasoning. After a bit of silence she finally speaks up again just as Dave, and the others have made it down to meet them. "I know you always say you don't like fighting, but you owe me for this."
