Chapter Twenty Two

The battle was quickly fought even with fighting them alone she manged to beat them into the dirt only causing minor damage to the surrounding area. She quickly hand cuffed them to their ship leaving them there looking around for Clyde. He was cowering in the corner behind a box. "Is it over?" He said scared. She didn't seem to want to entertain this charade any longer. She slams her foot into the box barley missing his head. "What have you done with the real Clyde?" She glares down at him. He answers now terrified. "Wh... what do you mean darling. I'm Clyde." She doesn't like that answer. 

"Clyde would never abandon me like that even if he knew he was about to get his ass beat." He sees he's not getting out of this without explaining. "Alright alright. I'm not your Clyde please don't hurt me." "Where is he?" She won't accept anything other then the truth from him. "I don't know they probably took him back to the company." He says still very much fearing for his life. She lifts him up by his collar looking like she is about to strangle him to death. "What company?" She demands. "I'll show you just... Please stop..." She releases him from her grip. He catches his breath pulling out his phone looking for something. 

He finds a video, and presses play. A little cartoon man that look very sad is typing away at his desk in the video. "Is your life boring in sad. Do you wish you could be literally anywhere else." The video says. "Well here at Replacement Life we can give you just that. For the low price of all your life savings. We will find a life more suited to you." Two other cartoon men appear in the video kidnapping a very happy looking man, and letting the sad man take his place. "Call now, and start living the life you really want." The video ends, and he puts his phone away. Raleigh thinks for a second still very angry with this fake Clyde. "So let me get this straight. This random company took Clyde, and replaced him with you another version of him." "Yes sorry please don't hurt me. I'll do anything." He pleads. 

"Get away from me creep. The only thing I want is my Clyde back so you better find a way to do that or I'm going to destroy you." Fake Clyde panicked. "Got it." He fumbled through his pockets pulling out a button with a glass case over it. "I bought the second try package. They told me to push this button if I was unsatisfied, and they would try to find another life for me." She snatched it out of his hand pressing it right away. "OK listen up Wimpy Clyde you are going to act like everything is normal when they show up so I can have a word with them." She glare to add another level of intimidation she probably doesn't need to. He nodded timidly. She Walks off out of sight waiting for them to show up.

A little while later. Another ship shows up landing by The Hopper. Its got Replacement Life plastered all over it. Three armed men come out guns drawn. "Your extraction team is here we will get you back to the office, and find you a better replacement." One of them says. Wimpy Clyde runs behind them getting onto the ship. "Hurry that bitch is going to ambush me. You said she would be easy to get with." "That bitch she says not exactly surprised he betrayed her, but still annoyed. She hits one of the guys with a hammer. "I'm sorry I'm not your little romantic getaway you bastard." She knocks another one out.  She turns her hammer into a sword pointing it at the last dude. "Give me the location of your base now!" 

He puts his hand up pointing to the ship he came in. "I give up don't hurt me. They honestly don't pay us enough for this." Wimpy Clyde Cowers once more seeing how easily she took them out. She punches him in the gut walking past him to get the coordinates. She then destroys the console, and lights it on fire as she walks out. She walks toward The Hopper not messing around at all anymore. "Wait don't leave me how, am I supposed to get out of here?" Wimpy Clyde pleads with her. "I don't know ask them." She points to the still unconscious Darrion, and Cyrus not spending any more time with the waist of a Clyde. 

Like a bat out of hell she makes it to the world Replacement Life is placed in. The whole world has pretty much been taken over their billboards all over all leading to a huge corporate building. She land right in front of it going inside to the front desk. A voice says "Welcome to Replacement Life, Start living your best life today." Over the speaker system. The lady at the front desk smiles. "Hi there how can I help you today ms?" "What do you people do with the people you replace." Raleigh asks her. The lady doesn't seem surprised. "Oh we get that question a lot. We usually send them to processing to start their life as a Replacement Life employee isn't that wonderful?"
