The trees casted dark shadows on the ground giving me enough cover to hide away from the large animal. I found it difficult trying not to get caught by the wolf. Its ears sparked up as a bush shook in the wind, I panicked but the feeling soon passed.

When it lowered its furry head back down to its paws I took action. I sprung forward nocking the heavy beast over. I growled low at them as they slowly got back up onto their all fours. They growled back and I realised I had gotten in over my head, this wasn't just an ordinary wolf, this one had power.

'Don't show any fear, that will be seen as a weakness.' I told myself mentally.

My opponent showed their sharp white canine teeth at me, I let out a long breath and got into an attack position. Why did I jump out of my perfect safe hiding spot? All well too late now...

The other wolf got ready to fight.

'Ready,' I mumbled inside as they bent lower.

'Set,' this time I bent lower.

'GO.' And with that we flew towards each other.
