Genevieve POV
The first month of searching went quite quick. I met up with all the males in town, none of them were my mates.
The second month took us to April and also to a couple of the other packs as far away as two hours. Henry wouldn't allow me to go any further then that.
Since that day we decided to start looking Henry became my second father and he was very protective. He pretty much adopted me without actually adopting me. We had under a week until the omega moon.
It was a chilly autumn night and I was in my wolf form running out to my tree. It had become a habit now, every night I came out and slept in my tree trying to escape the nightmares. I have been getting nightmares every night and the only way I find to stop them is sleeping in my tree, it i as if a protection spell of some sort has been put on my tree that keeps me safe. I stopped in a small gap in the leaf-less trees and stared up at the moon. It was a crescent moon, my favourite type of moon. I loved this moon because ever since I was young I found a black mark on the back of my hand which was shaped like a crescent moon, I never showed my mother the mark because she would go crazy. I have only showed my father the mark and he told me that that mark was my destiny and it matched my name. I never understood what my father meant by what he said and I never got to ask him.
I dropped my head in shame at myself, I have pretty much given up on finding my mate, with 4 days until the omega moon I haven't got much of a chance.
'Don't give up, Hun, he's out there and you know it, you have smelt it you have seen it. Think, Hun, think you will figure it out.' My wolf encouraged but it was no use I had given up and excepted the fact that I was going to die soon.
'Im sorry Katherine, but its not worth it, I'm not going to find him.' I replied back to her.
I walked off into my tree and lied on the ground before I fell asleep I felt Katherine push a memory forward. It was the memory of the dark brown wolf with white paws, stomach and a white spot on his head. His scent of grape bubble gum and nature flowed into my nose. I fell asleep with his wonderful scent in my mind.
Zac POV
'Why do i have a feeling I should be somewhere else?' I asked my wolf.
'I don't know, why are you asking me?' He replied.
'Your the wise one remember Percy.' I barked back.
'Your right, your right.' He agreed.
I was going to replied to my smart-donkey of a wolf but my phone vibrated on my bedside table, by the way I try not to swear even in my head. I sat up and flipped the sheets off me. I picked up the iPhone and entered my passcode, it clicked as the message screen appeared. The message was from Raphael.
Hey dude, can you call me?
Raph ;)
I shrugged and dialled my best mates number. Within a couple of rings he picked up.
"Raph?" I asked.
"Dude thanks for calling, how's everything happenin?" He replied.
"Yeah it's fine though I cant wait to get back, the girls here suck." We laughed but I knew it wasn't because the girls sucked it was because I had another girl on my mind, I didn't care if I haven't even met the girl yet, I could smell her.
"Haha, well I told you I would keep in touch with you while you are gone." He continued to laugh.
"Well you haven't called me for two months..." I trailed off.
"Well, I've been busy ok-" I cut him off.
"Doing what?" I eagerly asked.
"My friend found out she has to fulfil a prophecy which she needs to find her mate and so I've been busy trying to help her find it before 4 days time. We aren't having any luck and so I hope I can make her my mate instead since she can't find hers. Fingers crossed." He explained.
