Zac's POV

"How dare you!" I growled not being able to help myself.

That one touch had sent my body pulsing with lingering tingles and allowed my body to regenerate a little faster.

I rose to stand up in my cage. The metal collar which was strapped to my neck was on the verge of choking me.

My movements had caused fear in some of the human guards who were put in place to keep me from my mate. I began to sense the button on the remote being pushed down to help them restrain me.

I ripped my hands free of the chains which bound them and pulled the thick sharp wiring around my ankles off as well. These were the actions which cause the button to be pushed.

Immediately electricity shot through the collar and began trying to paralyse my body . I struggled with my hands trying to get them to reach the collar before it was too late. I had to break of the collar while the electricity was pulsing through because it loosened the plastic bolt, that's how they got it on so tight.

My vision was getting blurry and my ears were ringing as my hand clasped around the collar. All of my muscles tensed and burned as the electricity began to fully paralyse me.

'5, 4, 3, 2, 1-' I counted silently in my head how long of the electric current I would have left. When I reached one I yanked the copper and leather choker off my neck just as the electricity stopped.

I was free.

My body rippled as the fear in their eyes doubled.

I fell onto my hands and knees as Percy forced me to shift. Not shifting for two weeks had had quite effect on me but not seeing Genevieve for two weeks was torture.

My head flew back and my fingernails dug into the floor, digging deep into the concrete floor. My senses heightened.

'Jesus!' I cursed. 'It feels like I'm shifting again for the first time.'

I was in so much pain, it was unbelievable!

I yelled in pain as all of my bones were pulled apart by the blood which related me to my unique ancestors.

My yell made everyone else in the sound proof room jump.

Instantly I felt the familiarity and ease which I usually felt when changing. The smoothing of the skin and the warmth which followed. The coloured precise view from an animals point of view.

I opened my eyes to stare at the three guards which were put in place to prevent me from leaving. They were all frozen with fear. None of them had dared to move after I broke free.

I growled at all three of them and that seemed to break them all out of their trance, but they were all too late. I had already dived at them and had knocked all of them over.

Their puny guns which they had been given has smashed under the impact of my weight and their weight on them.

It was stupid to strap glass guns on the backs of guards, mostly because if you jump on them with the weight I have the glass shatters and implants itself in the back and bone of the guard, and no amount of picking can get them out.

I laughed inside at the joy of killing the guards which had made my life hell for what felt like way more than two weeks.

I stopped suddenly, no I shouldn't be laughing. I just killed three men who wouldn't have stood against me for more than a few seconds, it was unfair.

I moved off the three bodies and luckily saw that all three of them were all still breathing just were all bleeding and had been knocked out.

The closest guards walkie-talkie went off asking whether everything was ok because they heard a smash.
