Sophia POV

'He's alive? But all that blood...' I was lost for words.

Raphael must have sensed a shift in my emotions cause he sat up and looked me in the eye concerned.

"What is it? What's wrong?" He pleaded.

"Zac's alive. We don't know how but he is, but Cameron and Ashton say that Peter is dead." I try to explain.

"He's alive?! Are they sure? Is he awake?" He stood up straight away and was heading back out the door to run to he's Beta's side.

"Raph, wait!" I called out but he already shifted and ran off.

'He must be running on adrenaline... There's no way he should still have any kind of energy to keep running after a whole night of fighting.' I told my wolf.

'Just make sure he gets checked out for his injuries cause he might not feel them now but he will soon.' She warned.

I ran to join the rest of the guys around Zac. Just as I arrived I got a new mind-link sent to me.

'Luna, you might want to get Beta Zac and yourself here. It's about Genevieve.'

It was Dr. Josephine.

"Is he awake?" I asked the boys.

"No, not yet he's still unconscious. Go do what you need to do I'll stay with him." Ashton spoke up.

"Cameron, go help the others collect our fallen on the west boundary." He nodded in acknowledgement of my order.

"Raph, I need you to go supervise the east boundary. I have to go to Genevieve, okay?" I asked grabbing him by the shoulders to make sure he heard me.

"Yes. Okay. Please keep me posted." He replied before kissing my forehead.

I nodded my head before running off to get to the packhouse.

Within 10 minutes I managed to arrive, it would have taken me less but I had to walk the last little bit. I was running out of energy.

"Josephine!" I called out.

"Luna Sophia, I'm in here." I heard the response.

I reached the lounge room and saw Genevieve had been placed on the long couch, her chest rising and falling slightly.

"What's wrong is everything alright? Who brought her here?" I asked not remembering who was sent to bring her here.

"She's alive but her child is slowly dying. There's nothing I can do at this rate she'll lose the child in the next 3 hours. I hate to say it but like many out of the battlefield, her child is basically dead." The doctor dropped her head in defeat.
