Chapter 32- Just Run

Zac's POV

"No, your kidding." At my comment she shook her head.

"Are you trying to say your...?" Raph asked, still a little raspy.

"Well I'll tell you guys this, I was due a week and a bit ago. And I can feel something here..." She said emphasising a place on her stomach.

"Well this could make things interesting." Raph replied.

"Before we think to much about this let's get back to the pack. And don't convince yourself that you are pregnant, we won't know until you see the pack doctor and address the book." I explained trying to get off the topic, it's making my stomach churn.

Maybe I need to see the doctor more, I think I might need some mental stability drug or something, maybe an iron stomach... I feel like I'm going to be sick.

'I thought only the females got morning sickness.' Percy laughed.

'Shut it Percy, it's not funny, I'm not ready to be a dad yet...' I growled at him as I lent up against a tree.

"The book!" Exclaimed Raphael making me jump out of my thoughts and away from the tree." I hope Sophia still has it."

"She should. She had it in her arms when I raced after you two." Genevieve explained pointing a finger at the both of us.

"Well I don't want to lose anymore time then necessary, 'cause remember there is a traitor amongst the pack and Soph doesn't know that there is which could put the whole pack in danger." I said while pulling Evie up and wrapping an arm around her lower back.

"Right! Let's go." She directed as all three of us shifted into our powerful wolves.

'Zac?'

'Yeah Evie?' I replied as I looked up to stare at her honey wolf across the river we had stopped at.

'What happened to your wolf?' She asked.

'What do you mean? I don't feel any different, well now that I think about it I sorta do.' I began to talk to myself.

'Your coat has this mysterious shimmering pattern all over it. It sorta comes in waves over the top of it.' She stated taking a step closer to my wolf making my heart race.

'I did feel different after you left. It felt like I was shifting again except it was way more painful . I don't understand why it changed though. We have to get that blasted book.' I cursed.

'You two ready to go? I had a look at our surroundings and I think we're about two days walk from the boundary.' Raph trotted out from behind a tree.

'Ok, let's go. The sooner we get there the better.' I said as bolted off in the direction Raphael had come.

The other two ran slightly behind me after I took off. I needed to feel the air in my coat to move my thoughts.

The three of us ran together through the forests and flat land which were far enough from any roads or human places so we wouldn't be seen.

Our padded feet racking up the dirt and grass and throwing it behind us as we ran in unison, Genevieve was out in front showing off how her jog was our sprint...

'It's about to reach 11am, we should find some where to rest, it's going to get really hot very soon.' I noticed while looking up at the sky.

'Yeah that's a good idea.' Raph agreed as we slowed down to start looking for a place to sleep for a while.

While Raph and I trotted around the forest area scratching around Genevieve was off sniffing the area.

'What are you doing? Evie?' I linked directly to her.
