Alon's Pov

"Morning!" I greeted as I stepped into the newly reopened bar, the transformation from its previous state was absolutely remarkable. The rebranding, combined with some mural work I contributed, truly revitalized the place, enhancing its ambiance.

"Loony, right on time," Sir Jason exclaimed upon seeing me, accompanied by Arthur who was busy with glassware. It had been a month since I joined the team, and I headed straight to the locker room to change, unaware that Arthur trailed behind me.

"Hey," he called out, catching up with me.

"Hey," I replied, slightly surprised by his presence. "Thought you had your hands full."

"Just wrapped up," he replied casually.

"Not planning to dive into something else?" I teased back.

"Who made you the boss?" he joked, nudging me. "Sir Jason and I sorted everything before opening. By the way, Loony, you're looking particularly different today."

"What?" I paused, turning to him, intrigued.

"Your hair's looking glossier," he observed, running his fingers through it. "And feels softer too. New shampoo?"

"I haven't changed it," I confirmed, feeling the unexpected smoothness myself. "Odd."

"And your skin, it's glowing," he remarked, prompting me to examine my reflection.

"I hadn't noticed," I admitted, taken aback.

"Pretending not to have beauty secrets, huh?" Arthur teased, but I brushed it off, focusing on changing into my uniform.

"Ready?" I asked, leading the way out to the dining area, flipping the sign to 'Open' as we began our shift.

The day passed in a whirlwind of serving customers until a sudden wave of dizziness overcame me in the locker room. Arthur's quick reflexes prevented a fall as I clung to him, my vision swimming.

"Loony, what's wrong?" he exclaimed, guiding me to a seat while the others gathered around.

"Just... tired," I managed, attempting to rise but failing, my head spinning.

"Stay down," Arthur insisted, worry etched on his face.

"I'm fine," I reassured, but before I could protest further, darkness enveloped me, and I lost consciousness.

I WOKE TO THE stark whiteness of an unknown room, disoriented and bewildered. Arthur's presence by my side offered some reassurance, though his concerned expression mirrored my own confusion.

"What happened?" I managed, my voice weak.

"You fainted," Arthur explained gently.

"Where am I?"

"The hospital," he replied softly, his tone tinged with worry.

Our conversation halted as the doctor entered the room, prompting a tense silence.

"Feeling better?" the doctor inquired calmly.

"Yes, thank you," I replied courteously. "Can I leave now?"

"Indeed, you're free to go," he confirmed with a smile. "But I strongly advise you to take a break from work and prioritize rest at home."

"Doctor, am I sick?" I pressed, seeking clarity.

"No, you're not," he clarified. "But you're experiencing fatigue. Given your circumstances, prolonged work could exacerbate your condition."

"I'm struggling to piece this together," I admitted, perplexed.
