ALASTORS POV
I looked at the grandfather clock in my study.
7:17
Though I hated to admit it, I was worried.
Rosie had never taken this long before. What If something had happened?
I looked at myself in the mirror I kept on the wall in the corner.
Why was I feeling emotion? That was not supposed to happen.
I growled and looked at the clock again.
7:20
Don't do it
Don't do it
Don't do it

I did it.
I jumped up from my chair and grabbed my coat off the hanger next to the mirror.
Running out side, I threw my coat on as I walked down the streets.
The crowd parted for me, for the Radio Demon.
I held my head high.
I was powerful,
I was respected,
I was the terror of this town,
And I was fully able to take over the entire city if I pleased.
You have everything you needed to take down lucifer himself. My brain whispered.
Don't get cocky now idiot.
I shook my head and smiled as a child on the street took one look at me and jumped into a garbage can.
Rosie.
Right, I had to find her.
I walked past the end of an alleyway and stopped when I heard noises.
I straightened my coat and peered into the darkness.
I saw a tall figure,
with horns,
 and her iconic purple dress.
My eyes widened.
 oh FUCK.
My smile vanished.
"What do you want?"  I growled.
Lilith smiled. "Oh just checking in with my favorite peasant."
My eyes narrowed and I ground my teeth even though I knew it was true.
"And what might you want my least favorite..." for once in my life I didn't know what to say.
"Owner," she said smugly. "Owner is the word you are looking for, and keep smiling dear."
She drew a smile on her own face and I unwillingly followed.
Stiffening, I turned back towards the street. "Well I must be off-"
  "Come here Alastor."
I stopped in my tracks and tried to ignore the invisible tugging.
"I have very important things to be doing if you just wou-"
"Come. Here. Alastor. Do NOT, test my patience boy."
I swallowed my pride and walked back to the vile being that was the queen of hell.
"What. Do. You. Want?" I spat.
Lilith tilted her head. "Oh he's feisty today! Well all I wanted to do was talk."
I turned boldly around heading back towards the street. "Well I don't have time to talk so goodbye."
"Tsk tsk, you should have learned by now."
I knew I had made a mistake when she used that tone of voice.
Lilith grabbed my chain out of thin air and looked at me.
"Do not make me ask again. Come here."
It was torture to smile through all of this, but none the less, I somehow managed to.
I walked with my head down, back to my mistress.
  "Kneel."
When I did, she clamped the chain around my neck and smiled.
"Good boy." she said, patting my head.
I wanted to slice her throat open and tear her esophagus out right now.
"Now," Lilith said folding her legs. "You are failing your job my friend."
I cocked my head towards her in question and saw her wrapping my chain around her fingers.
"Oh don't be too disappointed in yourself, You only failed to protect the PRINCESS OF HELL."
She yanked the chain so that I was facing her.
"Yeah, only a minor failure, don't you think?"
I gulped and shook my head.
Lilith nodded. "I thought so."
"What have I done wrong?" I gasped out against the collar which was currently choking the air out of my lungs.
Lilith smiled evilly, she wrapped my chain around her arm, pulling me closer.
"You want to know what you did?"
She grabbed my chin, forcing me to look at her. "You're here meandering around, ten CITY BLOCKS away from where MY DAUGHTER, Is being attacked!"
The queen took the liberty to kick me in the gut. "Oh yeah, good job at protecting her, real good job."
I gasped clutching my side. "I didn't know- how was I supposed to-"
Lilith dragged me by the neck over to the wall, pinning me to it by the throat, her nails digging into my face.   "I do not expect you to 'guess'  Alastor, I expect you to know!"
She ran a finger down my cheek. "Now tell me, are you going to know next time?"
I felt blood running down my face. "With all do respect how am I supposed to kno-"
Lilith sneered. "Wrong answer."
The queen kneed my head before dropping the tangle mess that was my body into a pile of broken glass.
I groaned, everything burned, and I could feel every glass shard like a hot needle in my skin.
My master looked down at me. "And they called you the Radio Demon, such and unworthy title for a dirty lowlife like you."
Lilith placed her foot on my shoulder. "Bow." She said.
I trembled, and I bent, I bent to her will because I could do nothing else, because I was tired of getting hurt.
I bowed, my ears trembling, body giving out, and my will to live crumbling.
Lilith formed a small black ball of magic in her hand, and sent it into my back, leaving a black spider web of poisonous magic, before pushed my face into the remaining glass.
I was beat.
I bit back my cry's of humiliation and pain.
My head was yanked back up by Lilith who upon seeing my face smiled and laughed a little.
She pulled my head closer to hers. "Good boy." She whispered patting the cheek with all the glass in it.
I shook and silenced my screams before they came, swallowing and looking Lilith in the eye, who had grabbed my chin again. "Listen to me, You will protect her, do you understand me?" The queen dug her fingers into my neck leaving tiny bloody cuts from her finger nails. "If you do not, I will make you wish you were still alive, understand?"
I nodded the best I could with the chain collar.
Lilith slammed me into the wall one last time before getting up.
"Well then, good talk!"  she called and left.
My chain vanished and I slumped against the wall.
Battered.
Broken.
Beaten.
And a slave of my own deal.

I had to find Charlie.
I climbed to my feet, wincing as my head moved, my vision swimming.
I stumbled into the wall, leaning on it for support.
Walking was very hard when you couldn't tell distance.
I took a shaky step....
And totally misjudged falling back to the ground.
Why did she have to knee my head?
I crawled to my hands and knees, but the second my head was on an angle all the blood ran to my face, including the blood on my face, which pooled in my eyes, turning my vision red.
I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to stop the horrible feeling.
Soon enough my skin was covered in blood the same color as my coat.
I looked at my blood covered hands like I had never before.
I was not in control,
I was broken,
I was dying.
Lilith's magic was killing my soul.
My arms gave out and I fell back to the pavement.
Had I failed to do everything?
I had failed to protect Charlie.
I had failed to break my curse.
I looked around the dark alley shaking my head.
No one could see me like this, no one could know I could be like this.
I forced my arms to work, pushing myself back to my knees.
Every bit of it hurt, but while I might be dying, I was not dead yet.
I winced and slowly dragged myself back to my feet.
And slowly, but surly, made my way down the street.
I might be broken
I might be struggling
I might be dying
But I was not giving up.

That... was also dramatic!
Wow guys, am I a dramatic writer?
Comment and tell me if I am.
Cause I want to know.
And votes would be nice! :)
