In the middle of the department store stood Bonnie and Eliana, the both of them browsing the selection of dresses on the racks. Eliana had convinced Bonnie to go, though her amazing powers of persuasion. Which was more of her begging constantly so she wouldn't be alone.
"Alright, Caroline's wearing red. Should i go blue? Or black?" Eliana asked as she held up the two dresses she had.
Bonnie stared at the dresses in thought for a second before pointing to the short blue mini dress.
"Blue, definitely blue."
It was a strapless navy dress that ended at her upper thighs, with a piece of fabric draping down in the front.
"You think? Is blue my color?" Eliana asked, smiling as she stepped forward and held it up to herself.
"Blue's definitely your color."
"I think, I'll go with this one." Bonnie muttered as she grabbed a dress. It seemed to be an animal print? Or maybe stripes. "There isn't really anything else I'd look good in."
"Bonnie, you're gorgeous. Anything you wear, you'll look good in." Eliana exclaimed, causing Bonnie to give her a small smile as she continued searching through the dresses.
"Thanks El."
Eliana grabbed a dress off the rack, handing it to Bonnie. "You should get this one."
It was a black, off the shoulder dress with a sweetheart neckline. The bust of the dress had beads sewn throughout it, spreading down and ending at the waist where the flowing skirt was all black, ending at the knees.
"I don't know..." Bonnie muttered, holding the dress in her hands as she looked down at it. Though she did think the dress was beautiful, she wondered if it would even look good on her...
"Bonnie, if you don't get it. I will and will force you into it later."
Obviously, she ended up getting it.

The day of the masquerade ball, Bonnie and Eliana arrived at the Salvatore house. They walked towards the door as Bonnie hugged her grimoire to her chest. She had gotten a text to meet there, and brought Eliana along as they were already hanging out.
