"Beep-Beep, Move Out The Way Ric"
___
Darkness surrounded her.
She couldn't see where she was, but she could feel a cushiony bed beneath her, wooden walls surrounding her on all sides. There was only had a few inches of space to move, and she could feel the air around her getting heavier the more she breathed.
Her heart began speeding up as she banged on whatever was in front of her, again and again to no avail. Whatever it was, she couldn't move it, couldn't get free. She was trapped.
Tears started streaming down her face as she let out panicked sobs, thrashing around in the small space. She felt light headed as she took in breath after breath, it felt as if she was about to pass out. Suddenly, whatever was above her started creaking open. It was a casket?
Not this again.
Light filtered in through the small crack, blinding her as the lid was was lifted completely open. She blinked a few times as her eyes adjusted to the light, and she registered someone standing over her. The same blurred woman she'd seen in her dreams.
Right as the woman began to reach down towards her, Eliana's eyes snapped opened to a dark room.
It wasn't her uncle's apartment, no, it was a house. One that Klaus had arranged for her to stay in when she said she didn't want to go back to her uncle's. Apparently to just stay in temporarily, as he had plans to build his own house, right here in Mystic Falls.
She sighed as she threw her legs over the side of the bed, brushing some of the hair that was in her face away. Dreams like this had plagued her every night since the homecoming dance, and considering it had been days of this, she was utterly exhausted. They weren't dreams, they were nightmares that prayed on her claustrophobia to torment her.
She made her way out of her room and down the stairs. It was so quiet in the house you'd think she was alone. But she wasn't.
Klaus was currently gone, on the search for Stefan, and he'd assigned one of his hybrids to look after her. And considering there were no more originals to compel them to stab her, she deemed she was safer that way. And besides, she liked this one, he was sweet.
It was a boy named Alan, not much older than her, and as she stepped off the last step she could see his head peek out of the kitchen. His black hair fell into his face as he tilted his head in concern. She made her way over to him, a yawn escaping her as she rubbed at her eyes.
"Eliana? Are you alright?" Alan asked and she nodded with a tight smile. her bad dreams were nothing he could help with, so there was no point worrying him. Besides, he'd report it back to Klaus, and she didn't want him worrying that she was having dreams about the creepy caskets he kept his family in.
"Couldn't sleep, thought about making some tea or something..." She mumbled and he smiled. He reminded her of a puppy, one that was very hyper.
"I can make it for you! And if you're hungry, I'm a good cook so-" He offered, but she cut him off. She found it sweet that he was so eager to help her, but she wasn't in the mood to eat anything.
"That's okay, Alan. I'm not hungry." She explained and he nodded, looking at her with a look of worry. And she didn't blame him for worrying, if anything happened to her, Klaus would probably kill him.
