"The Well"___
The historic society's volunteer day was a disaster. Silver obviously didn't affect werewolves, as the myths stated it did, meaning Damon being the idiot he was pissed off Mason.
Leading to Mason ratting out Damon and Stefan to the sheriff, forcing Caroline to have to save them and reveal to her mother that she was a vampire. Which Eliana avoided being involved in, luckily.
Caroline was at the Salvatore house with her mother, trying to wait out the vervain in her system so she could compel her memories away. Eliana was helping everyone set up for the masquerade ball that was to be thrown, Elena by her side.
Eliana walked next to Elena as they descended the steps into the back yard of the Lockwood house. The sun was shining high in the sky as people bustled by, decorations in hand and ready to set them up. It was going to be Eliana's first founders event, but it would most likely be pushed to the side by supernatural business.
Elena spotted Bonnie before Eliana did, stopping the blonde beside her and nodding towards where Bonnie was walking, she was carrying a box filled with candles towards a table. Eliana smiled at her, raising a hand and waving.
"Bonnie!" Eliana called out, getting the girls attention. When she looked over, her face fell slightly when she noticed the brunette by her side.
The both of them began to walk over, and when they were close enough, Elena decided to speak. "You're here."
Bonnie gave her a tight smile, her body tense. "I'm here." She then glanced around them, her eyes searching their surroundings.
There was an awkwardness between the best friends, with Elena spending more time with Caroline since she became a vampire, Bonnie was left feeling as if she lost both of her best friends.
Elena sighed as she grabbed the the candles from the box, helping Bonnie set them out. "Caroline's not coming. I told you."
"Just making sure." Bonnie murmured and Eliana touched her shoulder in sympathy. Even if Eliana was okay with Caroline now, Bonnie wasn't.
"You know, eventually you're gonna have to talk to her." Elena stated as she turned towards Bonnie. Eliana had to stop herself from rolling her eyes at the girl, obviously Elena didn't know how to give people time, especially to adjust to one of their best friends dying and coming back to life as a bloodsucker.
"Could you make it a little less obvious you're on her side?" said Bonnie, causing surprise to flash across Elena's face.
"There are no sides, Bonnie." She explained, causing Bonnie to scoff.
