Rebekah stood in the dressing room of a random department store they had chosen, as Klaus and Stefan sat in two chairs seeming uninterested. They obviously weren't helping much with picking out clothing, and a woman was pouring champagne into their glasses as they waited for Rebekah to come out from the dressing room.

"There has to be more to this dress." Rebekah said from behind the curtain, making Eliana giggle. Last she'd been awake, women wore more clothing so women's clothing from the 21st century must have been quite scandalizing for her.

"There's not." Klaus replied as he took a sip from his glass.

Rebekah stepped out of the dressing room, looking unamused with the outfit. "So, women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes, then. You know, I got dirty looks for wearing trousers."

Klaus tilted his head back in the chair as he grinned at her. "You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing."

Rebekah glanced to the speakers on the wall that were playing music, an irritated look crossing her face. "And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accident."

Klaus rolled his eyes at his sister, as Stefan responded to her. "It's dance music."

She gave him an incredulous look. "People dance to this?"

Stefan nodded, and Klaus huffed. "Are we done?" he asked impatiently and Rebekah took a few steps towards him, her tone teasing as she spoke.

"And why are you so grumpy?"

"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids are dying, one thing. Your necklace. And you lost it."

"I didn't lose it. It's just been missing for ninety years. So, what do you think?" She asked as she turned around, showing off her dress.

"I like it." Stefan replied, and Eliana rolled her eyes, even she knew he obviously didn't like it.

Rebekah gave him a look, and he raised his brows in confusion. "What? I said I like it."

"I can always tell when you're lying, Stefan." She stated as she walked back into the dressing room, closing the curtain swiftly.
