"I'm not your friend"
___
Eliana sat in the Salvatore house again, glancing up from her book to see Damon standing in front of a window, sunlight streaming in and burning his skin. She was only there as she still wasn't able to go back to the apartment, and she didn't feel the need to get up and help Damon as there was nothing she really could do for him.
He was bitten by Tyler the night of the sacrifice, and with no known cure for a werewolf bite, Damon's sanity would deteriorate as Rose's had and he'd go rabid, eventually having to be put down.
She closed her book, placing it beside her on the couch but not moving from her spot. He wanted to go out on his own terms, why would she try to stop him? "Might wanna get off the rug so your ashes are easy to sweep up after."
Stefan came in out of nowhere, using vamp speed and knocking Damon to the floor, away from the rays of light streaming in.
"Get off of me." Damon spat out before Stefan grabbed him by the shirt and rushed into the hallway, slamming him against the wall with a bang. That was when she stood up, heading into the hall to watch the altercation. Only to watch, though, not help.
"You're not doing this." Stefan argued, intent on keeping his brother alive until they could cure him, but Damon only huffed.
"Just did, you know what happened to Rose, Stefan." Damon coughed out, but he only shook his head.
Stefan sped him down to the cellar, but Eliana didn't care enough to follow after, instead, she went upstairs to the room they had lent her. She was going to watch a movie in the town square with Elena and Caroline, so she had to get ready.
Since the sacrifice, she'd made a mental list of those who were least to most likely willing to kill her or sacrifice her. Elena, Caroline, Bonnie and Jeremy were the least likely, with Damon and Stefan being the most likely. Her uncle was in the middle, as she didn't know if he cared enough about her to stop Damon and Stefan, as he'd allowed Damon to almost snap her neck when they daggered Elijah.
Tyler and Matt weren't on either of the lists, as she'd only met them in passing and didn't consider them a part of her "friends".
She didn't completely trust the ones who were least likely to kill her, they could change their mind at any moment, but she knew only one who wouldn't harm her. Elijah made it clear he'd kill for her but she wasn't sure how everything would pan out in the future.
Mainly if his family was as murderous as his brother.
The family of unkillable vampires that were eventually going to be set out into the world, the relationship that may or may not blossom between her and Elijah, and his family again because if the rest were like Klaus then they were fucked.
