Remember Rose? The vampire who had Elena and Eliana kidnapped and took them on a trip to Richmond? Yeah, she's dead.
A werewolf named Jules had come to town, searching for her old pal Mason Lockwood, who Damon murdered by the way. And because of Damon taunting her in the grill, Jules ended up biting Rose instead of Damon which caused her to go rabid, eventually leading to her being staked by Damon Salvatore himself.
And that's not even the worst part, Tyler helped the pack of werewolves Jules had brought along to Mystic Falls with her kidnap Caroline and torture her. One of the werewolves even locked her in a cage and shot her continuously in the head.
But, Elijah did come through on his part of the deal and helped take down the pack of werewolves via the Martin witches.
So, a lot had happened in just a short span of time and to comfort Caroline after the traumatic ordeal, Elena, Bonnie and Eliana had a sleepover at her house. Staying up all through the night, with Caroline crying on their shoulders as she told them about how Tyler just stood there and watched them hurt her.
But she did eventually calm down and fall asleep, as did the other three girls. In the morning, Bonnie had somehow ended up laying half way on top of Eliana, with Caroline snuggled up to her back and Elena on the edge of the bed with someone's arm draped over her face.
But then their peaceful sleep was interrupted by the annoying sound of someone's phone ringing, which made all of the girls groan and shift in the bed, causing Caroline to nudge Elena off the side of the bed and onto the floor.
Elena groaned, letting out a huff as she landed on the floor, and Eliana leaned up in the bed to glance down at her. "You okay?"
"Yeah," She mumbled back to the blonde before grabbing her phone and pressing answer. "Hello?"
Caroline and Bonnie leaned up in bed as well. Bonnie shushing her, tired from the late night they had, and Caroline whining out her name in protest, "Elena!"
Elena crawled away from directly beside her friends into the hallway, which was pointless because they could still hear her voice speaking into the phone.
Bonnie laid back down, as did Caroline and Eliana while they listened to what they could hear of Elena's side of the conversation.
"Good. Heh, much needed. When can you and I have one?" It was obviously Stefan, he must have asked how the sleepover had went.
