"Tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse." Elijah said as he stood in front of Elena, Eliana and Stefan.
"Elena said that the sun and the moon curse is fake? That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus." Stefan said, clasping his hands together as he sat in the chair. They had informed Stefan of the information that had been given to them, and he had seemed just as shocked as Elena.
"Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting. But if he breaks it...he'll be a true hybrid." Elijah said just as Damon came into the room they were in. He stood far away from Eliana, heeding the warning he had been given about harming or threatening her.
"Then why are we letting him break the curse? We can kill him today, with Bonnie."
Elena shook her head, not wanting her best friend to die for her. "Bonnie can't channel that much power without dying."
"I'll write her a great eulogy." Damon shrugged, ducking the book Eliana threw at him shortly after.
"Elena doesn't want Bonnie to die, and neither does anyone else. We're not doing it your way." Eliana said, crossing her arms over her chest.
"You're a witch, you do it then." Damon suggested making Eliana frown, she couldn't use magic unless taking it from someone else, and taking that much magic might kill someone.
"She will not be going near the sacrifice." Elijah stated, causing Damon to give him a strange look.
"Oh, I forgot, you care more about Eliana's life than keeping Elena alive. Why are you even trusting him?" Damon said as he looked to Elena, who only sighed and shook her head.
"He cares for Eliana, and Eliana cares for me. She doesn't want me to die, so Elijah won't let me." Damon looked at Elena blankly, but everyone in the room knew she was right, they'd all seen it.
Stefan spoke up then, diverting the conversation back to Klaus. "So, how do we break this curse?"
"Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know."
