Eliana sat at a table in the Mystic Grill, right across from Nathan as she played with a sugar packet. She was still shocked at the information she'd been given. That she actually had a brother.

"So....you're really my brother?" She asked, having asked the same thing four times now.

He chuckled, "Yes. I'm really you're brother. I told you before that I presented my magic early, and because I was a siphon, I was given away and taken in by a normal family."

She nodded along, feeling bad for him. But they were in the same boat, right? He'd been left behind as had she for being a siphon witch. She didn't know if that was the reason her mother had left her behind, but what else could it have been?

"And that's the type of witch we are? A siphon?" She tossed the sugar packet to the side as she leaned forward on her elbows.

"Yes. I don't know if it happens in other covens, but in the one our mother was from, it was common, as was twins." He said, gesturing between them. Right, he wasn't only her brother, he was her twin.

"And it was the G-gemini? You said Gemini right?"

"Yes, the Gemini coven. I know because I found our grandfather a year or two ago, he didn't want nothing to do with me, so I was pretty upset but then I set out to find you and our mother. Well, one of you. Our mothers good at hiding herself." He murmured the last part more to himself.

He'd tried to find their mother? Eliana hadnt thought of her for years, and she wonderedwhat she was up to now. If she missed her children...

"And her last name was Parker? You said it before when I asked you her name." She only knew her last name as Laughlin.

"Yes. Parker." His voice was void of emotion as he uttered the name, causing her to tilt her head. Was something wrong?

"You okay?"

He snapped out of his thoughts, a smile slipping into place on his lips. "Yeah. Just got lost in my head."

Her phone vibrated in her pocket, and when she pulled it out she saw a message from her uncle telling her it was time.

Time to explore the caves underneath the Lockwood estate. She glanced back up at Nathan, an apologetic look on her face. "I actually have to go right now, but if you wanna chat or need me or something you can just text or call me. Okay?"
