Eliana lingered near Caroline's locker, nervously looking around as she waited for the other blonde to appear. Because even if they were on opposing sides in the Klaus and Stefan feud, she was going to wish her a happy birthday. Except she should have figured Elena would show up there as well.

Elena stopped in her tracks when she noticed the blonde standing near the locker, a conflicted look crossing over her face. She was holding decorations in one hand, and some balloons in the other. Eliana straightened up from leaning against the lockers when she saw her, both of the girls staring silently at each other as other students walked past.

And, since she hadn't said anything, Eliana figured she didn't want her there. But Eliana didn't know what thoughts were running through the other girls head, that she thought it was wrong of Stefan to steal the coffins, and that she was beginning to realize the unhealthy dynamic between her and both of the brothers. As she began to turn and walk away, Elena called out to her.

"Where are you going? We're decorating Care's locker for her birthday, aren't we? I need someone to help me tape up the decorations." Elena said as she held up the decorations, and Eliana debated just walking away. She didn't think Elena wanted her there, not truly. But there was another part of her that just wanted to hang out with her friends again, with no Stefan and Klaus nonsense.

"Okay. You're gonna need someone with some artistic vision or else it'll look a mess."

The two girls made quick work of taping up the decorations, and were just about finished when Bonnie walked up to the pair, a surprised look on her face at the sight of Eliana which faded into a wide smile.

Bonnie was sort of relieved that Eliana was here, considering they hadn't spoke much since homecoming, which she regretted. And just because she was helping Stefan with the coffins didn't mean she hated her. Something was just drawing her to the unopened casket, something greater than herself and she had to figure out what was inside.

"H-hey, sorry I'm late. I-uh, I got held up."

"It's okay, Eliana helped me set up. Can you pass me the balloons?" Bonnie bent down to grab them, before handing them to Elena. "What got you running late?" She asked as she began taping them to the locker.

"I-uh-was working on some new spells." Bonnie explained, and Eliana smiled as she held up the birthday card to Elena.
