Traveling with Klaus and Stefan over the summer wasn't as bad as she thought it'd be, as long as she ignored Stefan staring at her like a piece of meat. In fact, she enjoyed spending the whole summer tracking down werewolves. It was fun at times, and at others it was incredibly boring as they had no luck locating them.

She'd rethought her original perception of Klaus after getting to know him a bit, he wasn't evil, just violent. But who out of the people she knew wasn't? Damon had threatened her multiple times, Stefan was a literal serial killer who ripped off heads, and her uncle had no qualms about killing someone either.

Just as she knew with Elijah, she knew he wouldn't hurt her—at least not on purpose.

And speaking of Elijah, she didn't hate him for daggering him. Sure, she missed him, but it wasn't as if he was dead, he'd come back. She was hoping she could convince Klaus to un-dagger him eventually, but she wasn't sure when he'd actually do it.

Stefan had been grumpy most of the time, and he was taking off peoples heads left and right. He was unpredictable when he was in ripper Stefan mode, but Eliana's favorite past time was messing with him as he couldn't retaliate against her, unless you count the time he threw her phone out the window because she was playing Take me home country roads on repeat. But she believed the real reason he did that was because of the message from Elena that had popped up on the screen.

How rude.

But it wasn't that big a deal, as she got a new one the next day, given to her by Klaus. Also how she learned that if she asked for something, they'd get it. Iced coffee, new clothes, a fancy hotel for her to stay in while the two of them ran around in the mountains trying to turn werewolves into hybrids, which eventually became rabid and died.

Because obviously she wasn't going to do hike up a mountain.

And after that tragic incident, now they were in Chicago, looking for a witch to tell them why Klaus wasn't able to create his hybrids.

Eliana trailed behind Klaus and Stefan, through a door and into a bar, with rays of light coming through the windows and lighting up areas of the room.

"Look's familiar, doesn't it?" Klaus asked, glancing back at Stefan as he looked around in surprise.

"I can't believe this place is still here." Stefan said as he leaned against the bar. Klaus and Eliana did the same.

"You got to be kidding me." A voice rung out from the other side of the bar, and all their heads turned towards it. A woman with short, white hair was leaning against the banister, staring  at Stefan and Klaus in surprise.
