"Rise and shine, you lazybones! It's already 10, don't you have work? Get up, you slacker!" her mother yelled, her voice cutting through the morning calm.
"Mom, what are you talking about? It's only 8! I need to get ready," she exclaimed, glancing at the clock that clearly displayed 8 am. Relief washed over her as she realized she had more time than she thought, though her heart was still racing from the sudden wake-up call.
"It's 8? Oh, my bad, dear. You'll understand my worry when you have a daughter like yourself," her mother replied, softening her tone.
"Anyway, thanks. I have an important meeting at the office. I hope Bublu has the presentation ready," she said, already mentally preparing for the day's challenges.
"Why can't you take responsibility? Why does everything fall on Hobi's shoulders? And another thing, ask him to come home tomorrow. We need to discuss something with both of you," her mother added, a hint of concern and frustration in her voice.
"What is it this time? You know Hobi does everything, and I just get the credit," she replied with a mix of pride and exasperation. "And, Maa, some good news—he's preparing for the BTS member audition."
"Why is he preparing when he already knows he's the best? He's my boy, so tell him he'll shine wherever he goes. Eat something before you leave and take food for Hobi; it's his favorite."
"Okay, bye, Maa. My cab is here," she said, grabbing her bag and heading out the door. She got inside the car, put on her earphones, and let her thoughts drift to her idol who had appeared in her dreams.
As the car navigated through the busy streets, she couldn't help but replay the dream in her mind. It felt so real, as if she could still see herself dancing, her movements graceful and captivating. She shook her head, trying to focus on the day ahead.
Meanwhile, across town, Suga was starting his day as well. "Aunty, the soup was really delicious. Thank you so much; it truly made my day," Suga said, licking the edge of his lips with satisfaction.
"It's my duty, boy. Also, I need to go to the hospital as uncle is getting discharged. So, I'll take my leave. I've prepared food for you and kept it in the fridge. Don't forget to heat it before eating, and do take rest," she replied warmly.
"Sure thing, Aunty. Take care of yourself too. I'll make sure to visit uncle this weekend. Tell him not to worry about expenses; I'll handle everything," Suga assured her, giving Aunty a hug before waving her goodbye.
"Joe, take care of everything for her. She's like family too," Suga instructed.
"Sure, sir. I'll handle it," Joe assured him, nodding respectfully.
Suga walked back to his room, his mind still lingering on the girl from his dreams. While taking a bath, his thoughts wandered to her elegant dance. He wondered why he couldn't get her out of his mind. Taking a deep breath, he tried to shake off the thoughts.
At the same time, in the bustling office building downtown, she settled into her desk, her mind still partially occupied with the vivid dream. Glancing at the clock, she realized it was almost time for her meeting. She took a deep breath, straightened her back, and focused on the task at hand. The meeting went smoothly, and Hobi—her best friend and colleague—had indeed prepared an excellent presentation. She felt a wave of relief wash over her as the meeting concluded successfully.
After work, she decided to visit a nearby café to unwind. As she sipped her coffee, her phone buzzed with a message from her mother. "Don't forget to remind Bublu to come home tomorrow." the message read.
She sighed, typing a quick reply, "Got it, Maa. I'll remind him." She leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes for a moment. The image of her dance in the dream flashed before her eyes again. Who was that man watching her so intently? Why did she feel so connected to someone she had never met?
Back at home, Suga was also lost in thought. After a busy day, he finally had some time to relax. He sat by the window, looking out at the city lights. The memory of the girl in his dreams was vivid. Her graceful dance, the way she moved with such fluidity and elegance—it was mesmerizing. He felt a strange connection to her, as if they were destined to meet.
As the night fell, both Suga and the girl found themselves thinking about each other. They were unaware of each other's real identity, yet their dreams had intertwined in a way that felt almost magical.
