Maya held Yoongi's hand, her voice trembling as she said, "I am sorry." Tears rolled down her cheeks. Yoongi gently lifted her face, his eyes soft. "I know, but please, don't do anything on your own. We're in this together, okay? And I'm sorry too, for letting you suffer alone."

They reached Maya's place, and she quickly opened the door for Hobi and Yoongi, making sure no one saw them. Joe, who had dropped them off, left hurriedly due to some emergencies.

Maya, suddenly curious, asked, "What's the matter with you two? We were supposed to meet tomorrow, right?"

Hobi's gaze turned serious. "We wanted to surprise you by visiting today, and in return, you surprised us."

"Sorry," she said with a sheepish smile.

"Please, that innocent look isn't going to work anymore," Yoongi said, making himself comfortable on the sofa.

"Let's leave that aside. What's the matter?" Maya's curiosity was piqued.

The boys exchanged glances and giggled. "We're not going to say," Yoongi teased.

"Yes, not unless you prepare a feast," Hobi added, looking at Maya.

"But Yoongi, I don't know how to cook meat," she sighed, blinking her eyes.

"What?" Yoongi was shocked.

"Yes, she's a vegetarian," Hobi added, making Yoongi's expression widen.

"I thought so. Okay, I'll prepare the dishes with meat, and you prepare the vegetable ones," Yoongi decided.

"Great, I'll have good food today," Hobi sighed.

Yoongi and Maya headed to the kitchen. Suddenly, Yoongi grabbed her and pulled her into a hug. "I missed you, sweetie."

"I missed you too, Yoongi," she murmured, resting her head on his chest. She could hear his heartbeat, which made her feel secure and protected.

They broke the hug and started preparing dinner. She made Hobi's favorites while Yoongi prepared a few meat dishes. They had a good time in the kitchen, playing and giggling around.

Yoongi and Maya were chopping vegetables when Yoongi decided to have a little fun. He took a small piece of carrot and playfully threw it at Hobi, who was lounging in the living room. "Hey! What was that for?" Hobi exclaimed, laughing.

"Just checking if you're awake," Yoongi smirked.

"Oh, it's on!" Hobi grabbed a cherry tomato and tossed it back, hitting Yoongi on the shoulder.

Maya giggled, trying to stay out of the food fight, but Yoongi pulled her into it. "No, no, no, I'm just the cook here!" she protested, laughing as Yoongi handed her a piece of cucumber to throw.

Soon, the kitchen turned into a playful battleground with vegetables flying around, laughter echoing through the room. "Okay, okay, truce!" Maya called out, breathless from laughing.

They resumed cooking, and Hobi suddenly remembered that Maya hadn't revealed their relationship yet and decided to get back at her.

He walked into the kitchen and stopped Maya. "Did you forget something?"

Maya was clueless. "No, I didn't. I'm almost done preparing all your favorites," she said, looking carefully at the dishes.

"Arey, I'm not talking about food," he said, glancing between Yoongi and Maya. "What's up with you two?"

"Oh, sorry Bublu, we're together," Maya said, holding Yoongi's hand and smiling.

"Oh wow, congratulations! I'm so happy," Hobi said in a mock-judgmental tone.

"Seriously, I wasn't going to keep this a secret from you, my Sunshine. You know me, right?" Maya giggled.

"Then why did I have to ask myself? I feel embarrassed to call you my best friend."

"Sorry, Bublu. I swear it won't happen again," Maya promised.

"Next time means you're going to leave Yoongi," Hobi teased.

"Just shut up, idiot. Why would I leave him? He's the man of my dreams," she giggled.

"Haha, very funny. He's my dream man. What about our friendship, you dumbhead?" Hobi said, grabbing her by the neck.

"Wait, I’ll tell your parents," Hobi threatened.

"Hobi, you're my best friend. Don't tell," she pleaded, then started tickling him until he let go of her neck. They played and giggled while Yoongi stood watching.

"Seriously, Hobi. You always have to mess with me," Maya complained, catching her breath.

"Messing with you is my job," Hobi replied with a grin. "Someone's gotta keep you on your toes."

"Well, you're doing a great job," Maya said sarcastically. "But one day, I'll get my revenge."

"Oh, I'm terrified," Hobi mocked, rolling his eyes. "What are you going to do? Tickle me to death?"

"You never know," Maya said with a mischievous smile. "I have my ways."

"Alright, alright. Truce for now?" Hobi suggested, extending his hand.

"Truce," Maya agreed, shaking his hand.

"They're literally two idiots: one my best friend and the other my better half. I don't know how I'm going to handle them," Yoongi muttered to himself before interrupting them. "Guys, enough. Let's eat."

"Finally, the voice of reason," Maya said, giving Yoongi a grateful look.

"Yeah, I'm starving," Hobi added, rubbing his stomach.

"Then let's dig in," Yoongi said, leading them to the table. "But seriously, you two need to grow up."

"Never," Hobi and Maya said in unison, bursting into laughter again.

Yoongi just shook his head, smiling despite himself. "I guess some things never change."

The table was set with a variety of dishes. "Now can you guys reveal the news, please?" Maya pleaded.

Both boys exchanged excited looks. "Yes, we are nominated for a Billboard Music Award!" Hobi announced, his excitement peaking.

Maya's eyes widened, and she stood still for a moment, processing the news. Then, her face broke into the widest grin, tears welling up in her eyes. "Ahhhhh, oh my god, I am so happy! Oh god," she exclaimed, jumping around and holding Hobi's hand. "I knew it! You guys will reach the peak!" She couldn't contain her excitement and gave Yoongi a quick kiss on the cheek.

Yoongi, taken aback, blushed and covered his face, shy. "Maya, you're embarrassing me," he mumbled, but his eyes shone with happiness.

"Don't show off, Maya," Hobi said, playfully hitting her.

"Sorry, couldn't help it," Maya giggled, her joy palpable.

"Yes, we'll show off," Yoongi said, pulling her closer, his voice filled with affection. "We've worked so hard for this."

Maya hugged both of them tightly, her tears of joy flowing freely. "I'm so proud of you guys. You've earned this."

Hobi, trying to hold back his own tears, smiled warmly. "Thanks, Maya. Your support means everything to us."

"OK, OK, let's celebrate," Maya said, wiping her tears and pouring them glasses of wine. "Cheers to your success and many more to come!"

They clinked their glasses, their spirits high, and spent the rest of the evening laughing, reminiscing, and celebrating their milestone together. The bond they shared, filled with love, friendship, and mutual respect, felt stronger than ever as they embraced the joyous moment.
