A few weeks after their reconciliation, Yoongi meticulously arranged a private meeting with Maya at his friend's cafe, a place where he didn’t have to conceal his identity. The cozy cafe, tucked away from the bustling streets, offered a sanctuary where they could be themselves.

As Maya entered, Yoongi greeted her with a warm smile. The cafe was softly lit, creating an intimate atmosphere. They chose a secluded corner booth, away from prying eyes. Yoongi’s excitement was palpable as he pulled out his phone and handed Maya one side of his earphones, keeping the other for himself.

“I want you to listen to something,” he said, his eyes twinkling with anticipation. “It’s ‘Daechwita’. You’ll be the first to hear it before it goes out to the world.”

Maya’s curiosity piqued as she adjusted the earphone in her ear. The moment the song started, she was captivated by the powerful beat and Yoongi’s intense rap. His voice commanded attention, and the traditional Korean instruments blended seamlessly with modern hip-hop elements. As the song progressed, Maya felt her legs move involuntarily to the rhythm.

When the song ended, Maya’s eyes widened in awe. She squeezed Yoongi’s hand, her expression a mix of pride and amazement. “Yoongi, that was incredible. It’s going to be a massive hit! I can feel it. But, I have to be careful now because my man is going to be on top, and he better not fall for any other girls.”

Yoongi chuckled, his eyes crinkling with amusement. “Come on, Maya. You know you’re the only one for me.”

“I’m serious, though. The lyrics, the beat, your rap—everything was perfect. You’re really a king and a boss. No one can come close to you,” Maya praised, her voice filled with genuine admiration.

Yoongi’s cheeks tinted a faint pink at her compliments. “Thank you, Maya. It means a lot coming from you. One day, you should sing along with me,” he said with a playful wink.

Maya laughed, “Yeah, sure! I’ll sing just one line: ‘I am king, I am boss,’ and that’s it!”

Unable to contain his laughter, Yoongi playfully ruffled her hair. “You’re impossible,” he teased, still chuckling.

They both settled into a comfortable silence, sipping on their drinks and enjoying each other’s company. The cafe's ambiance was filled with soft chatter and the occasional clinking of cups. Yoongi's friend, who owned the place, discreetly ensured they had their privacy.

After a while, their conversation turned nostalgic as they shared stories from their time together with Yoongi’s bandmates.

“Do you remember that time when Taehyung tried to prank Jin with that fake spider?” Yoongi asked, grinning.

Maya burst into laughter. “Oh my God, yes! Jin’s scream was priceless. And then Jungkook tried to save him with a broom, only to knock over that expensive lamp!”

Yoongi chuckled, shaking his head. “We ended up having to replace that lamp. Jin wouldn’t let us forget it for weeks.”

“And what about the time Jimin and Hobi decided to have a dance battle in the middle of practice?” Maya added, her eyes shining with amusement.

Yoongi laughed, “I thought Namjoon was going to lose it. But they were so good, even he had to join in eventually.”

They continued reminiscing, their laughter blending with the soft music playing in the background. Each shared memory strengthened their bond, reminding them of the good times and the unbreakable friendships they cherished.

As the night grew, they decided it was time to leave. Yoongi looked at Maya with a hopeful glint in his eyes. “Do you want to come over? We can continue talking at my place.”
