As Maya walked, she pondered who the mysterious texter could be. She hadn't noticed anyone when the girls tried to stop her. Feeling a bit hungry, she stopped by a convenience store to grab a snack.
Her phone buzzed with a message from Hobi: "Did you reach home safely?"
"Did you give my number to anyone?" she replied.
"No, I just jotted down your number in case of emergencies. Are you okay? What happened? Tell me."
"Nothing, just asking... Don't forget to rest and eat well. Don't be picky. Take care. See you soon, Sunshine 😇." Maya didn't want to worry Hobi. She decided to ignore the mysterious text unless she received another one.
"Sure, take care too. Good night. Let me know if you need anything," Hobi responded.
Once home, Maya threw herself onto her bed, feeling exhausted. She closed her eyes, ready to drift into sleep.
Suga's smile widened as he greeted Maya, "Hey there, how have you been doing? It's been so long since I saw you."
Maya returned the greeting, her tone casual yet friendly, "Hey, there. I'm good, hope you're doing well too. But I didn't miss you since I saw you not too long ago."
"Oh, I thought you'd miss me," Suga replied with a playful pout.
Maya couldn't help but find this dream version of Suga endearing. She reached out and gently held his cheeks, "So cute you are."
"Really? Thank you, because I can be me only here," Suga chuckled.
Their hands intertwined as Suga brought up a question that had been lingering in his mind, "You didn't answer me last time if I can be your boyfriend."
"Yes, of course, without any doubt, sir," Maya replied, knowing that in her dreams, she could have him as her own.
As they embraced, Maya felt a pang of longing knowing that this moment was only fleeting, confined to the realm of dreams. "Feels like I'm dreaming dreams within my dreams," she murmured as she reached up to touch his cheek.
"No, you're not," Suga reassured her, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead, a silent promise of his affection.
Their intimate moment was abruptly interrupted by Choi, Maya's only friend in Korea, who jolted her awake. Disappointed, Suga found himself alone in bed, yearning for the presence of his dream girl.
Despite the disappointment of waking up, Suga couldn't shake the warmth of the dream. Blushing, he reminisced about the dream and the feeling of having someone of his own. However, the reality of not being able to have her in his waking life weighed heavily on his mind. Seeking solace, he retreated to his music room to find inspiration in composing new song, "I Need You," before exhaustion finally overtook him once more.
Meanwhile, Jimin, Suga's unsuspecting bedmate, woke up to find Suga lying motionless, lost in his thoughts. Confused, Jimin shook his head, dismissing the idea that anything out of the ordinary had occurred. With a shrug, he settled back into bed, unaware of the emotional turmoil Suga was experiencing just beside him.
Months later, Maya slipped into Big Hit Entertainment, her presence a familiar sight as Hobi's family member. Her steps led her to Yoongi's studio, where she found him peacefully sleeping at his desk. A soft smile graced her lips as she approached, unable to resist the urge to admire him up close.
"You look so handsome," she murmured softly, her fingers delicately tracing his features. A faint smile tugged at Yoongi's lips, as if sensing the pleasant dreams weaving around him.
But as Maya attempted to rise, her foot caught on the edge of Yoongi's chair, sending her stumbling forward.
"Who the hell?" Yoongi's eyes snapped open, locking onto her. "How did you get in here?" he demanded, his hand instinctively gripping her waist.
"I was looking for Hobi and saw you here. I slipped, sorry," Maya explained, trying to stand. But Yoongi's grip on her waist held her in place, and before she knew it, their lips met in a sudden, electric kiss—their first.
For a moment, the world seemed to stop. Yoongi felt a surge of emotions he hadn't anticipated. The warmth of Maya's lips, the softness of her touch—it all felt so right, yet so wrong. As they broke apart, eyes wide with surprise, Maya fled without a glance back, her mind reeling.
"Shit, what have I done?" Yoongi cursed silently, running a hand through his hair. His heart pounded in his chest, a mix of guilt and longing swirling within him. He had promised himself he wouldn't get too close to her, that he would maintain his distance. But in that fleeting moment, he had lost control.
Later, as Maya collided with V, falling to the ground, V chuckled. "What's the rush?" he asked, helping her up.
"I was looking for Hobi. Can you tell me where to find him?" Maya replied, her mind still spinning from the encounter.
"Relax, he's in the dance studio. You can wait there," V reassured her before walking off in search of Suga.
Meanwhile, Yoongi paced in his studio, frustration gnawing at him. "I can't believe I kissed her. I have to stay away from her," he thought, yet the memory of the kiss lingered, a sweet temptation he couldn't shake off. "I need to keep my distance."
Suga strode through the corridor, shooting Maya a glance filled with anger and confusion. His emotions were a storm, battling between the desire to keep things professional and the undeniable attraction he felt.
Feeling the tension between them, Maya resolved to avoid such encounters in the future, hoping there were no cameras in the studio. But as she watched Yoongi flip his hair, she couldn't help but admire his cool demeanor—until his anger flared, heating up the room and adding to the turmoil within her.
