The release of D-Day 2 was a tremendous success, catapulting Yoongi into a whirlwind of activities. Concerts were lined up in quick succession, taking him to various cities across the globe. Despite the exhausting schedule, Maya made sure to spend as much time with Yoongi as possible before he left for his tours.

In Korea, the night before Yoongi's departure, Maya cooked a special dinner for him.

"This looks amazing, Maya," Yoongi said, looking at the spread on the table. "You didn’t have to go through all this trouble."

"It's no trouble at all. I want to make sure you have a good meal before you leave," she replied, serving him a bowl of his favorite stew. "You have to promise me you'll take care of yourself out there."

Yoongi reached out and squeezed her hand. "I promise. And I'll call you every chance I get."

They spent the rest of the evening talking and laughing, cherishing the moments together. Later, as they lay in bed, Yoongi pulled Maya close.

"I'm going to miss you so much," he whispered.

"I'll miss you too. But I’ll be right here, cheering you on," Maya replied, nuzzling against his chest. "And I’ll be waiting for you to come back."

The next few weeks were a blur of airports, hotel rooms, and concert stages for Yoongi. Despite the distance, Maya and Yoongi stayed connected through video calls. Maya would often stay up late to match his schedule, offering him words of encouragement and support.

During his concert in Jakarta, Yoongi began to feel unwell. He brushed it off at first, attributing it to fatigue. However, as the day progressed, his fever worsened. Determined not to disappoint his fans, he pushed through, giving his best performance on stage.

After the concert, during a video call with Maya, she immediately noticed his pale complexion and tired eyes.

"Yoongi, you look terrible. Are you okay?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

"I’m fine, just a bit under the weather," Yoongi replied, trying to smile.

"You’re burning up, aren’t you?" Maya said, her worry growing. "You need to rest and see a doctor."

"I’ll be fine, Maya. Just need some sleep," he said, though he could barely keep his eyes open.

Maya’s heart ached seeing him like this. She couldn’t bear the thought of him being sick and alone in a foreign country. Making a quick decision, she booked the earliest flight to Jakarta.

When Maya arrived, she went straight to Yoongi’s hotel room. Joe, aware of her arrival, let her in. Yoongi was lying in bed, a cold compress on his forehead. He looked up in surprise when he saw her.

"Maya, what are you doing here?" he asked weakly.

"I couldn't stay away knowing you’re sick," she replied, sitting beside him. "You need to rest properly, Yoongi. Let me take care of you."

Yoongi sighed, his relief palpable. "Just hold me, Maya. I feel better when you’re close."

Maya smiled softly and lay down beside him, wrapping her arms around him. "I’m here, Yoongi. Just rest."

Yoongi relaxed in her embrace, his head resting on her shoulder. "You’re my healer, Maya. I always feel better when you’re near."

For the next few days, Maya took care of Yoongi, ensuring he ate, took his medicine, and rested. She was a comforting presence, staying by his side and tending to his needs. Whenever Yoongi woke up, he found her there, her smile a balm to his weary soul.
