Chapter 19: Lorena's Plan! Zodiac vs Zodiac!

Sehki was lost, questioning how to overcome teleportation, detonating clones with enough damage, and Cluster's overwhelming power.

The clones went after the Heralds, Calypsa was holding the Chameleon at bay, Cluster forced Sven to run away in terror, Candy was trying to get past Ram, and Cree was fighting more of the clones with Rigal's pack.

"Calm down." The warmth of Lorena's words and hands wrapped around his body, their heads and minds parallel. "We'll get through this."

Calypsa's reaction to their conversation left her to use Crater on the ground, creating a dust cloud.

"How?"

"I think she's using corrupted versions of Zodiac Magic. Pure Gemini Zodiac magic allows you to absorb wind faster to use as clones or split yourself into an equal figure and copy spells. Splitting yourself into too many clones is a risk only fae with good control can use effectively."

"And if she's a Void...it's an explosion of their own negative energy!"

"And who can absorb that," touching his heart.

"Wait, but Cluster and Ram."

"I'll hold off Cluster," Cree interrupted. "As for Ram, we need to get in close range. Hey, Sky Boys! You hold off Ram for us," earning their concern. "Don't y'all parade about how you're big and tough. Show us."

Calypsa raised an eye. "You're going to make yourself the bait for Sehki, aren't you?"

Lorena mirrored her. "We'll have to do whatever it takes to survive the night," addressing his concern. "Or pass the torch to those who can. Calypsa, you find a way to turn that Void against them."

Candy agreed. "You, me, and her and stop Twin, and then stop Ram and Cluster. Every fiber counts to a good dress."

Sehki sighed. "Alright, Shadow Brawlers, move out!"

As the dust cleared, they went for their respective targets:

Mace launched the wreckage of his car, Mandrew formed dragon scales to shoot dragon breath Ram sent into another portal while Minus opened a pillar of light around Ram, trapping him in the pillar.

"Stop the other two!"

Cree deflected Cluster's attempts to interfere, going on the offense.

Candy went to help the girls, getting an idea from what she saw on the ground.

Twin and the Regal Void went after Sehki when Calypsa intercepted the latter, leaving the two to strike with their respective element.

"Shadows and wind don't get along so well," thrusting both hands forward with the whirlwind blowing and shredding him. He flicked up rubble around his silhouette to hold her back.

"As a Shikamari fan," destabilizing the whirlwind with a fireball to halt her, "I disagree."

"Sounds like you're an enemy to lovers fan," pushing him back, forcing them into a deadlock. "So why don't we become lovers? We're both after the same thing, toppling who controls this doomed world and finding peace for the guilty."

"With everyone turned to Voids against their will?"

"To unleash themselves from those vessels you call human flesh and culture. You're fighting for a world who abandoned you. Run wild! Release that hatred! Let's free this world from our tormentors!"

"We don't stop hatred by escalating it! Isn't there some sort of way Fae and Void can get sentience without this conflict?"

"You were chosen to have sentience. We have to fight every day for that right to live, to have our will, and we're killed for it while your kind will murder each other over trivial and petty squables!"

"Then let's stop this. Give them the choice, let's find a way to grant you all a proper will."

"Did they give you the choice to prove your innocence?"

He paused. She slid off his arm, wrapping her own around him.

"They didn't. And everyone around you let that torment, bullying, hatred swell and foster. But since you've been so nice to me, I'll get rid of those fae more mindless than you'll ever be," as clones pinned him and his shadow down to watch.

The others attacked Delphine, Kayla, and Nyla with the same intensity as Tenma when Lorena's legs swung like an axe, palm thrusting them away before they could explode. Her strike and shove took down the ongoing number, smacking one towards Calypsa, who threw the Regal Void into it when they blew up.

"Kayla," gesturing to her to fire, forcing Twin off Sehki. He flipped over and kicked the clones away. The real Twin's hand blasted straight, ordering more to target Lorena, ripping the whirlwind spell to shred the clones and the Brawler, ready to detonate them both.

"Bye-bye!"

"Your victory's just out of reach." Lorena stretched her neck, sputtering mud, disabling and headbutting them into the sky so far, their explosion couldn't reach. To Twin's anger, she spat a volley of mud at all of the clones.

"Capricorn!" She hardened her legs to hold a small mountain in each one, whipping one of them around to weaken them, while Sehki dashed around swiping, absorbing and canceling their detonation.

"Let's slice off the giraffe of the snake," ordering them to rise and swarm her.

Sehki jumped away, forming a whip to smack them. "Get away from my ex!"

"Why?"

"See," Candy roared, slamming away Twin headfirst with the holster. The Astrovoid landed straight onto the ground, demanding the remaining clones to crush them.

The Ursa Minor fae began randomly firing gatling ice blasts at the ground to the clones' amusement until finding each member's legs stuck in frozen traps.

Sehki gasped. "You used Professor Tenma's milk spray as an ice trail?"

"The real one's in the back!"

Thanking Delphine, Lorena fired at her, Sehki slammed the ground, and Candy froze the lifted rubble for him to wrap around her blade. Both charged their magic into it, ramming through the clones and collecting the ice into a giant lance.

"Asteriem Art," slamming her soldiers into the Astrovoid commander.

"Frost-Night Piercer!"

The lance pierced and dragged Twin's body, causing one of the three adversaries to fall.
