Chapter 66: Queens Asylum (Completed/New Chapter)

"Sleipnir Expansion!"

Fari summoned multiple platforms that Sehki equated to several city and suburb blocks, dashing at both of them. The cousins could barely block her fists in time, throwing him into the building.

"Sehki!"

"You're up first!" Her blades forced him to pump more energy into his stave, merging earth and fire to coat his attacks in lava, sparing with the might of her multiple fists blasting the air from his dodges. Sehki burst out of a building to help Wali pince her from behind.

She immediately summoned two vertical human length side blocks, prompting Sehki to awaken his Zodiac and coat his body in shadows, watching Wali try and weave the earth to break them. Fari turned them into gloves and shoes to punch and kick them both away.

"Sehki, use your Onyx Merge! We'll only defeat her through attrition!"

"Got it, Chameleon Soul!" The sense form allowed him to tank a four armed punch, Wali striking her legs in quick succession, and both of them firing their tongues to blast her back while people were running away.

Fari swung two large streets requiring a Shadow Drop to avoid, but forgot about the fleeing civilians. He jumped out the shadow, letting her smash him across the chest to use the momentum and break off the Soul to create the Neptune Necrosis, coating the populace.

"Get them to safety, I'll hold her off," spinning his tongue and forcing Fari to hold it off. Sehki complied, carrying the civilians with the waves of darkness towards a jungle cathedral meant for civilians.

He surfed back to help his cousin, narrowly swinging back from a familiar giant white snake, turning to the culprit. "Gorgon!"

"If it isn't the arrogant disgrace who got me fired!? You're just as naive as my cousin if you think you can save this dying world!"

"Wait, you're related to Dango? How's a relatively," remembering she also physically assaulted him, something every woman in Terra barring Lorena & Yessenia, Madam's crew, Amarilis, Nico, Claudia and Jia has tried to do since he arrived, "moderately kind lady end up related to you?"

"Easy! Those fools at Fenghuang hate anyone who dares to innovate or expand upon the magic and scientific potential unless it's from the higher up, much less half-natives."

He shielded himself from her medium sized snakes attempting to poison him. "Why didn't you join the Three Precepts?"

"Those fools naively believe acting out of the Planetary Presidents reach means they can solve the magic problems of the world. You only survive in this world with power or lineage behind your side!" Both of their snakes of black and white collided. "Case in point."

"Don't give me that shonen protagonist discourse, hard work vs talent nonsense! It's about honing your potential!" He stretched his shadow to move like rubber hands with claw arms.

"Those born with strong powers work just as hard as those with ones who have to get unconventional," thinking of Candy and Lorena as his twin slash pushed Gorgon towards the ground.

Smaller snakes helped her recover, skating through the buildings made of balustrades, awnings, with steep roofs.

"But just like your heirs, Asylum also sold me out the moment their stupid child decided to listen to you! Let's see if those friends you have so much faith in can save this world!"

An explosion burst through three different parts of Asylum:

Towards the Asylum Research Development Racetrack where Cree and Bella were about to compete.

Around the Containment Cathedral where the civilians and guards lie, shocking Lorena and Sven.

And at the National Asylum Gaia Association building where Ainsley, Candy, and Bodin prepared themselves around Heath: also being watched by two figures.

Serpens Malgams emerged from the cloud of smoke across all three locations as people started to panic and fear. Their own heir gulped, watching their concern the country with the least Void attacks would not be prepared emotionally or physically.

Cree watched the announcers freeze, the guards hesitating, and too many students lacking the nerve to fight, taking Bella with him to the commentators room.

"The world doesn't revolve around us becomin' devoid of pride," jumping up to create a vortex shielding the terrance from the Voids. "Tellus is the kingdom of health and revival is it not? Non-combatants, survive. Fighters, keep everyone' alive!"

The majority of people watched him fly up on his own staff to destroy a tenfold, while Bella hopped to smash more, aiming for others falling outside of the stadium.

Seeing this, Lorena was not about to let their training go to waste, trying to get Sven and focus on reducing the number with the assistance of the guards providing defense, until she noticed a mysterious figure dropping switches and dashing away.

She warned them not to use one of those, but Sven picked one up.
"These things could help us fight the Voids, right?"

She watched it energize him, giving him four stingers, as he fired acid.

"You got the warning from Admiral Mechion, they're too unstable!"

"I'm not as strong as you all think! I'm a laughing stock! Everyone saw me cower and run! Whatever helps me get my status back, so be it," flying past her to stab more Serpens Constains, recklessly using his newfound power.

Unsure of what the right call is to make, she warned the guards, springing and swinging through the jungle structure of the branches the culprit was escaping from, now suspicious of Paleun and Dango's involvement while in pursuit.

Sehki was ready to go full force against Gorgon, who altered strategies, baiting him into attacking, where she dispersed into snakes, making him fall towards Wali. The two ladies looked towards each other and smiled, dropping a heavy storm of poison and construction.

Ainsley slid, bending a dome to shield them.

"You're more opponents!"

As Heath asked them not to leave, he got word of intruders and the laboratory under attack as Dango and Paleun approached them.

"We're here to help."
