Sehki stared down at the orb, feeling his energy depleting, but looked around at his home for roughly eight years. Despite the ups and downs, he still wanted to be a part of it and protect it.
"You still want to be a teacher right? Didn't you help out those kids in that wind kingdom?"
"Yeah," recollecting on playing what was basically magic tag with them. "I want to help them, the whole world. But Val, I'm scared. Only one of my former friends doesn't hate me, the murderer of two of my parents are out there, and if Flint's there, who knows if they have Gerald. Sure I have my friends, but," breathing heavier, "their family got blackmailed."
"And you're not going to do anything about it?"
Those sharp words and facial change in her gaze stabbed through his doubts.
"You endured magic bullying all for Flint, and showed the world you care about them. So go back and show it. You've got friends, mentors, two girls who fought the world for you! The Shemar I know would never turn his back on them! Why leave them alone after all of that?"
"Because it keeps them out of the line of fire! The heirs took their humble pie, they just needed to digest it. Plus, Calypsa may be on my side, but-"
She tapped him on the shoulder. "Trust me, I don't want any girl messing with you. So stand up for yourself. If you don't want her keeping secrets from you, make sure she gets that if you can't trust her, my alternate counterpart's right there waiting."
He briefly smiled. "Maybe you two should meet instead."
"Then go make that world a better place for me to visit both of you. You won't escape my heart, so when you're in despair, think of me, cuz I'll always pick you back up. Update me, find your brother, your love, your friends, and remember," pointing to his shadow.
"Someone's always watching your back. Go save your people, Demon King."
Touched, Sehki accepted those words, grabbing the orb and allowing the portal to open up above him and the Void, slowly ascending. No more words needed to be said as they embraced in each other's arms before gravity separated the two.
Sehki let the Void free from his shadow, holding onto it. They screeched and belched, eventually pulling him towards the stream. An influx of the Starlight Dragon's time powers had his mind overwhelmed by a sequence of events as his head was pulled into the walls before he headbutted back, launching the two back into the center, and flying out of the portal.
Sehki cushioned the blow down to Terra with his dark extension, but a accelerating force tackled them both, rolling with him onto the ground until the person responsible stopped in their tracks.
"You're back!"
"Calypsa?"
The dark skinned girl with purple hair let her witch hat rise as she cleared her throat. "Missed me?"
"Hardly," watching her about to make a well let's if your body part's hard joke, when he pointed to the Void, as she used her staff to open a portal to blow them away.
"I was only gone for like ten minutes."
"Ten? You've been gone for a month. You missed Andromeda Day," pouting. "Wait, did you get hit through the walls of the stream," leading him to confirm that. "Yeahhhh, it rapidly ages you up and sends you further in the time space you left from if you're not careful."
"Seriously? A month just flashed by months in minutes!?"
"Lottas people dealt with that back when people first moved from Earth to Terra. Traveling through the kingdoms doesn't run that risk since the destination's not in an entire different realm. So, how'd it go?"
"We're friends-she wants to meet you one day. But my brother isn't on Earth. He and my dad were taken the same night I was," giving her the context of what Valencia said.
She gasped and sucked her teeth. "When your magic was released, they must've gotten there after Hague saved you."
"Hague?" My guiding star! "Oh, that's their name. You know who they are, don't you."
She looked away. "Well that's not imp-"
"Yes it is," remembering Valencia's words. "You expect me to trust you, when all you've been doing is keeping secrets from me. That ends. Whatever we have between us does not continue if you can't be honest with me! Let's start from the top, you know who that Void is, don't you?"
She sighed, nodded, but lifted up her top. Initially he chose to not be fazed by until he saw the seal of Ara, the Altar, on her chest.
"You're-"
"There's only so much information I can give. Our little plan got some restrictions off before our date, but I can't reveal everything. But if you can get your StellArts fully completed and get Cluster out in the open, we can use that Void to prove your innocence."
"I thought my power was enough to stop a De:Void!"
"You and Lorena fought him when he was fully awakened. That person's been on the line between Level Three and Level Four for so long, the power needed to erase their influence needs much more finesse."
"Okay, much better. How close am I?"
"You're," whispering Lynx, "close. About seventy-five percent there."
"Awesome. Get the other heirs, so we can jump Cluster together."
"Yeah, that's one thing I need to talk to you about."
He raised an eyebrow while Xia sneezed from her cell, staring at the note Sehki left for her when Yun approached her.
"Eat. I'll need you at full power for your new metamorphosis."
Terror widened her mouth at the sight of a Void.
