In his Victory Rider Shadow form, Sehki sprung and knee smashed the Void away, who pushed him off.

"Se~hki," snarling just like Taylor did when he was turned into a DeVoid.

So he's an InVoid or a DeVoid? I have to get rid of him now. It forced him to roll from their kicks, jump over their full body swings, and drop down with a heel kick, rising to uppercut them away.

Sehki ducked from the blast of its prehensile tongue, regretting it from the screams of Valencia's voice.

He immediately kicked it off of her, getting punched and slammed into the ground with his guard down, pinned down on all his limbs.

"Feed~"

The crash of metal smacked into its head courtesy of Val's use of a garbage can cover knocked its focus off long enough for him to pull a limb free, trying to devour his negative energy.

"Good~," it screeched as parts of it were ripped off, regaining parts of human flesh Sehki was desperate to increase, only to howl in pain as the other arm attempted to cover up the pain, shaking wildly and about to slam their hands down into him.

Valencia pulled out peppy spray, firing it into his face. It snarled at her, prompting Sehki to leg sweep it to the floor, and spin, grabbing her by the legs bridal style and smashing his helmet against the quick tongue before it could touch either of them, pulling it back and smashing him into the floor.

"You okay?"

"You?" He nodded. "I have an idea, keep holding his tongue!" He complied, prompting her to spray it all through its appendage. He used that opportunity to cobble earth from the concrete into his legs, rapidly stomping it back and forth until it rendered limp.

"We did it?"

"Not yet," pulling off his shadow, covering the Void and swallowing every ounce of negative energy possible, but as he searched for the origin point, the mouth of the person underneath the Void coughed.

"Prince? Sehki?"

"Who are you?"

"You've unlocked your power," groaning. "But it's not enough yet. Awaken the constellation in the sky," the male voice shrieked as the constellation around them pulsated. "Terra needs you," reaching up and grabbing his face. "Your parents trusted you too," overwhelmed before he could continue.

A violent force of energy blew Sehki's shadow off of him and the wind sent Valencia back a few steps as the essence consumed the person underneath, transforming him back into a Void and striking him airborne. It ran up the walls, forcing Sehki and his shadow to use the concrete to leg-block and push off the walls to escape its wrath.

Valencia threw the garbage can back at the Void, allowing him to shield from their constant long range strikes circling around and targeting his body. It sprung back, prompting Sehki to air boost away.

The tongue covered his torso as he threw the shield above the tongue's path and slammed it into his face, causing both of them to crash into the ground. When he got up, he found one of the Starlight orbs rolling towards Valencia who was pepper spraying them.

As it started to swing it at her, Sehki snapped, leaping seconds from her!

I won't lose her either!

The Void sensed him and twisted their head back to tongue-smash him, only for his shadow on the ground to connect both the creature and Valencia's.

He lifted her own silhouette out of the ground, punching it back into his own and using each of his arms to pummel them back and forth, dashing in front of her when they grabbed the black hands to deliver a brutal axe kick sending them away from them, making a fighting stance.

"You used my shadow?"

"Without light, we'd have no shadows," sending his powerset to contain and bind the Void in place, looking back at her. "And I won't let anyone extinguish your light."

"Thanks," picking up the orb, dropping her tender smile. "This can send you back to Terra, you called it?"

"Yeah, why?"

She handed it back to him.

"Then go get Flint back."

"But - I just got back. Val, you're the only person I have here left."

"Come," making him drag the Void with him towards the park with the vigil, complete with more flowers. He spotted multiple photos with himself, Flint, Shonda and Gerald, and others.

"You weren't the only one who put those there?"

She shook her head. "People never value others they know until they're completely gone, but you've fought for me and Flint more times than I can count. Everyone left, but those memories won't ever be erased. Shemar, you're not alone."

He started to look back on his childhood, having his tunnel vision so focused on survival, pranking, and protecting, how others saw him never used to matter.

"I wasn't just an annoyance?"

"More than that. You believed in me when people spread those rumors, you ran to a whole nother school just to check on Flint. You think no one noticed."

"But you're the only other person who cares."

"Because I'm not afraid to show that. And you were willing to see that when no one else cares. But look at you. There's a whole other world of people who need your help."

She could see the hurt in his eyes, and leaned in closer, helping him maintain his grip on the Void.

"Even the person in there needs you, more than me. I'm not saying I don't want you around. But you have the chance to find more about your birth family, save your current family, and many lives on the way. I won't ever forget you. So if you're in a pinch, just think about me."

"I...don't know. I wish you were there with me."

"Shemar, you're friends with the daughter of a fashion store owner with ice magic, a guy who fought a serial killer, a person that turns people into art, and got a girl who was being fake for years but trusted you. They'll keep you safe."

He took the other orb, unsure of what to do.
