Anticipation runs through Orion's body. After many weeks of rebuilding the motorcycles, they were finally ready to be used. He's in the car with Nico. The Clearwater boy offered to bring his truck so they weren't all squished in Bella's.He observes the view from the window, looking at the greyish sky. It was a perfect day to ride the bikes. His eyes latch onto another view, Nico.
He recalls what the swan girl said a couple of days ago. The Clearwater boy sure is attractive. Him and his long hair, with those dark brown eyes, and his smile. Orion is certain that his smile could light up any room that he walks in.
Yet he can't bring himself to like him. It wouldn't be fair to Nico. He snaps out of his thoughts, staring at the Clearwater boy. It was his turn to ask personal questions. "So, have you ever had a girlfriend?" is the first thing that comes to his mind.
Nico seems surprised by the question, or maybe by the fact that Orion asked it. "Yes, I've had a girlfriend before," he casually says. "And boyfriends."
Orion's eyes widen at his words. He's faced with a smug-looking Nico; he can't help but chuckle. God, his gaydar was so off.
"Cool." Orion smiles at the boy, another laugh threatening to escape.
Nico's expression is similar to his. "Cool," he repeats. They both turn to look toward the road, their smiles never leaving their faces.
Orion turns to look out of Nico's window to see a group of men nearing a cliff, one by one taking turns jumping into the water. The confusion on his face catches the attention of the boy next to him. He looks in the same direction the Rayo boy was staring at.
Before Orion could open his mouth to ask who the group was, Nico spoke up. "That's Sam Uley and his posse." His tone was sour.
Sam Uley. The name sounded so familiar. "You don't like him?" He incited. Nico slows down the car until it comes to a complete stop. He rolls his window down so they both can get a good look at the group.
"It's not him that I don't like, more his actions." He explains. This peaks Orion's curiosity. He makes a motion with his hands to tell the boy to continue. "They're off-putting, to say the least. They act like they're in charge of everything." He grumbles out.
"They've been trying to recruit me and Seth," he exhales. His demeanor turns dark as he crosses his arms over his chest.
Orion looks back at the group, watching as they roughly play with each other. "If you ever need help with them, just call me up." He offers, determination lacing his voice.
He didn't expect to be met with laughter. "What are you gonna do? punch Sam?"
Orion stares at him with annoyance. "You don't know what tricks I have up my sleeves." He mutters, pushing against Nico's shoulder.
"I'd sure like to see them." He teases.

It's not long before the duo catch up to Bella and Jake. The car quickly comes to a stop, and they step out, approaching the two other teens.
Orion nods at Bella, nearing her. They stand on the side, watching the two boys load the bikes out of the trunk. He gets that sudden, sharp pain in his stomach again. He tries his best to hide his discomfort, but the swan girl reads him like an open book.
