"Shahmeer, you need to hide", I said urgently, pushing him away from me. I frantically looked around for a place to conceal him.
"No, don't hide. Just jump out of the window", I suggested, turning my gaze towards the window.
"I'm not risking my life by jumping out of the window at this young age", Shahmeer responded, shaking his head. He then nonchalantly made his way into my bedroom from the closet. I quickly followed him, my heart pounding with fear.
"Shahmeer, please. Someone is at the door. They are knocking continuously. You need to leave before they catch you", I pleaded in a panic. The thought of ammi finding Shahmeer here filled me with dread. I couldn't bear the disappointment in her eyes.
"Such a scaredy cat you are", Shahmeer teased, playfully pecking my cheek. I let out a small squeal and pushed him away, wiping my cheek with a playful scowl.
"I'm not a scaredy cat", I retorted, glaring up at him defiantly.
"If you are not a scaredy cat, then go and open the door", he challenged, his eyes sparkling mischivieously. With a huff, I made my way to the door, determined to prove him wrong. Shahmeer watched me with a smirk as he lounged on my bed, propped up on his elbow and raising his brow in amusement.
As I heard Mishi's voice outside my door, I felt a wave of relief wash over me. It wasn't ammi calling me, but my beloved Mishi.
"Can we talk in the morning, Mishi? I'm feeling quite sleepy", I mumbled in a groggy voice, stifling a yawn as I leaned against the door.
"Okay", she replied softly, her footsteps fading away as she left.
With a content smile, I made my way to the bed, the soft sheets inviting me to relax after a long day. As I look around, searching for Shahmeer, a small pout formed on my lips. I checked every corner of the room, but he was nowhere to be found.
Just as I was about to give up and head to my closet to change, Shahmeer unexpectedly pulled me from behind with a playful grin on his face.
"Was my baby searching for me?", he teased causing me to blush at his endearing nick name for me.
"I'm not a baby", I mumbled in response, trying to hide my smile. I could feel his warm breath on my neck as he leaned in closer, making me shudder in anticipation. As he gently sniffed my hair, a wave of goosebumps spread across my skin.
"You smell so good", he whispered between soft kisses on my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I was feeling good, but I can't do this. I have to stop him because we are not married, and I can't control myself whenever he touches me. I have to behave, this is wrong. I thought and mumbled a stop to Shahmeer, who instantly stopped what he was doing and made me turn towards him. The intensity in his eyes made my heart race even faster, but I knew I had to stay strong and stick to my decision.
"Leave". ________________________________________
