Shahmeer Mirza
******************

There she comes, my Minha, looking beautiful in her red Lehenga. I was awestruck by her beauty, even just glimpsing her through the veil. Today, she becomes mine and will be in my home, by my side always. Her face will be first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see before falling asleep in her arms. Every thing feels surreal to me.

Her hands were beautifully adorned with intricate mehendi designs. It seemed almost unbelievable how our marriage was arranged in just one day, but it happened by God's grace. Now, she is soon to become mine. I still can't fathom how Every thing fell into place so quickly, but I'm grateful for this unexpected turn of events.

She came and sat on the other side of the veil. The whole garden was decorated with red roses, and a veil of red and white roses separated me and her. I was peeking at her through the veil, and see her signing the nikah nama my mouth hanging open as i gazed at her. I thought to myself, "damn this beauty is going to be mine", just then Harris interrupted, saying, "bhai muh band kare kahi makkhiyan muh mein na chali jaayein", and closed my mouth. Every one laughed at his joke, while I playfully glared at him.

'Jaldi aao yaar qazi saab', I mumbled to myself as I see Saad approaching me, "how are you feeling my friend?", he asked, placing his hand on my shoulder. "Top of the world", I replied.

"Inka toh abhi se yeh haal hai aage kya hoga", Ibrahim said as he hi-fived Harris giggling.

"Shahmeer bhaiya gaye kaam se", Ibrahim said as everyone erupted in laugher again. I heard a throat clearing voice and looked up to see qazi saab, baba and chachu standing in front of me with nikah nama in hand. My heart raced with excitement as the moment has finally come - minha was now officially mine.

(I'm too lazy to write every thing so yeah😁😁)

"Kya aap ko yeh nikah qubool hai?", qazi saab asked looking at me.

"Qubool hai"

"Qubool hai"

"Qubool hai", I said and signed the nikah nama. A smile appeared on my face as I look around. I was happy really happy, like I can't express in words. Qazi saab stood up and then did dua we all raised our hands to make dua as well. I see Harris, approached me asking, "Kya hua bhai raha nahi jata?", wiggling his brows. I playfully nudged him in the stomach, causing him to groan and take a step back. He began fake crying and wiping his tears. I shook my head at his antics.

Mama came and removed the veil. I stood up and made my way towards her, my heart started beating fast. Finally, she had officially become Mrs. Minha Shahmeer Mirza.

Minha Shahmeer
******************

Iam married, and I'm unsure of how to feel. Should I happy that I married the man I love? Love is something that I'm afraid of, as I do not believe that true love exists. I think it's just an attraction between couples, and after getting intimate, men's feeling change. Men cannot seem to stick around with one woman, just like my father did to my mom. He left her for another woman.

Will shahmeer also leave me for another woman? Whenever he sees me, he looks at me with a smile that makes me feel like I'm his whole world. His smile, which I adore the most after his eyes, melts my heart. His warm gaze and genuine smile never fail to make me feel special and loved. Right now, he is looking at me with the same kind of smile I mentioned before: his eyes light up whenever he sees me. However, I wonder how long this love will last for me. I fear that he may eventually grow tired of me and end up with another woman. It is a scary thought to imagine, but I hope he would never do that to me.

He kissed my forehead and whispered "masha Allah". My cheeks turned red as everyone looked at us. I lifted my head locked eyes with him - his eyes, his beautiful eyes were so happy and filled with love. "Shaadi Mubarak", Harris shouted as he threw flowers on us. I was a blushing mess, my cheeks resembling red tomatoes. I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.

"Masha Allah tum dono ki jodi ko kisi ki nazar na lage", Shahmeer's mother said kissing our foreheads. A smile appeared on my face as I glanced at Shahmeer, who was also looking at me the same way. Blushing, I turned my head. "Hamesha khush raho", nani and nanu said approaching us. I smiled at them. I notice Mishi and ammi engaged in a conversation, appearing worried.

"Chale chalte hai, it's already 5'o clock", Shahmeer's mother said, glancing at her watch.

My heart started beating fast. I could hear my heart beating in my ears. The time has come. I'm leaving my home, my mother, my grandparents, my mishi, and my best friend behind. Why do girls have to leave after marriage and boys do not?

Shahmeer stood up and extended his hand. I looked at his hand for a moment and grabbed it, standing up. Tears welled up in my eyes. As I glance around at my family, I noticed that they too had tears streaming down their faces. I bit my lip, trying to hold back my emotions. I walked towards ammi and embraced her tightly, starting to cry. She isn't just my mother, she is my hero, my source of strength. Iam leaving behind every thing and embarking on a new chapter of life.

I hope this new chapter will be filled with happiness and love instead of sorrow and tears.
