"Bhai chale", Ibrahim said entering my room without knocking, I turn my head to see a mischievous smile on his face.
Ibrahim's playful nature always brought a smile to my face. He never misses an opportunity to tease me or pull a harmless prank. As he entered my room, I couldn't help but chuckle at his mischievous smile. It was clear that he had something up his sleeves.
"Bhabhi intezaar kar rhi hongi", were accompanied by a wink, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his antics. He always knew how to lighten the mood with his playful banter.
But his next statement caught me off guard. "Aaj se mera bhai, mera nahi rahega" he said, pretending to cry. I couldn't help but laugh at his fake crying, knowing that he was just being usual dramatic self.
Before I could respond, my other cousin's walked into the room, all wearing smirks and wriggling their brows. " You will be engaged bhai", they chimed in, joining in on the teasing. It was clear that I was in for a day of lighthearted banter and laughter with my lively family.

"Bhai, aap toh boht chikne lag rhe ho", Harris said giving a seductive smile, and biting his lower lip.
I just give him a horrified expression, what the hell iss ladke se meri izzat ko khatra hai, I thought and move away from him.
"Meri chammo sharma gayi", said Asad coming from behind and keeping his hand on my shoulder.
What is wrong with this people? Why are they behaving like this?.
"Abe, pag-- Shahmeer chale beta", mama asked entering the room. I look at her removing Asad's hand from my shoulder.
"Mera beta, boht pyaara lag rha h", mama said coming towards me and pecked my forehead.
"Wow, mama you look beautiful", I said kissing her cheek and side hugging her. She hugs me back.
"Main toh kya, joker lag rha hu", asked Ibrahim looking at mama.
"Haan", meri said pulling his ears, I stick my tongue at him.
"Ammi", he said whining.
"Giddu fiddu", said Harris puching him.
Ibrahim is the shortest and the youngest in our family. We annoy and baby him alot.
"I'm not giddu fiddu you old man", Ibrahim said pulling Harris hair making scream like a hyena.
"Ahhhhhh, ok I'm sorry sorry sorry", he says to Ibbu who shrugg and roll his eyes.
"Tai ammi, taaya abu bula rhe h aapko", zaid said to mama entering the room.
"Ok boy's, come down and you two Harris and Ibrahim shakle seedi karo aur sabke saath neeche aao", saying this mama left the room.
Both of them stood glaring at eachother, I just shake my head at their childish behaviour.
"Ibbu, chale" I asked looking at him, he gives me a smile and nod his head, he loves when I call him Ibbu.
"Rukh giddu tujhe toh main ab btata hu" said Harris taking his steps towards Ibrahim.
"Aa beta, iss bar toh main tujhe ganja kardunga" said Ibrahim.
"Stop it both of you", i sternly said .
"He started it bhai", said Ibbu glaring at him.
"He started it bhai", Harris mocked.
Ibrahim was going to jump at him, I came and stood between them. Let's go, I said holding their hands and taking them as kids. They intertwined their hands with mine.
"Ohh bhai, mujhe kuch alag feeling aa rhi h", said Harris looking at our hands. All of us make our way downstairs chitchatting.
"Kya feelings" I ask in confusion.
"Intertwined hands are often seen as a romantic gesture you know", said Ibrahim out of nowhere. I leave their hand in an instant.
"Both of you have gone insane", I mumble and leave from their.
I sit in my car, surrounded by Ibrahim, Harris, Asad, and Zaid, feeling the nerves creeping up on me. The thought of engagement brings a strange mix of excitement and anxiety. But I can't bring myself to tell this guys how I'm feeling. I know they'll tease me like they always do. So, I try to focus on the road ahead and ignore the nagging feeling in my stomach. We're all headed to a big moment in my life, and I hope it goes well.
