I woke up with the sun rays falling on me from the open window, feeling the warmth on my skin as I groaned and tried to stretch my arms. However, I felt a weight upon me and saw Minha sleeping on me, her head resting on my chest and her arm wrapped around my waist. I couldn't help but bend down and peck her forehead, admiring her peaceful expression as I noticed her naked body covered and pressed under the sheets.

Gently, I removed her hand from my waist and carefully placed her head on the pillow before standing up.

A yawn escaped my lips as I stretched my arms, taking in the sight of the room that still held the lingering scent of our passionate night together. I remembered how she had begged me, how she had whispered "I love you" in my ear, and a smile crept onto my face as I gazed at her sleeping form.

Her hair was scattered around the white pillow, her lips forming a soft pout in her sleep. Her bare arms were placed delicately on her stomach, and I noticed the red and purple marks on her neck from our intimate moments.

"I'm sorry, baby", I mumbled as I leaned down to place a tender kiss around the marks, feeling a rush of love and tenderness for the woman who lay before me.

She has become the very reason for my existence. My sweet little wifey, she graced my life with her presence like a radiant ray of sunshine, illuminating even the darkest corners of my world.

In a remarkably short span of time, she has grown to hold immense significance in my heart. Is it truly possible to fall in love so swiftly? Her smile effortlessly brings joy to my face, and when she shyly whispers "I love you", it sends delightful butterflies fluttering in my stomach; embracing her feels like returning to the comfort of home.

As I leaned down to plant a sweet kiss on her lips, I gently arrange the sheets around her, ensuring she is snug and warm. I retrieve my shirt from where the floor and slip my arms into it just as a knock resonates through the room.

In a moment of panic, I quickly shift my gaze towards her, pulling down her hospital gown and making sure she's properly covered by the sheets; the evidence of our passionate wild night lingers on her neck in the form of hickeys.

I released a breathe that I was holding  and started buttoning my shirt. The crisp fabric sliding through my fingers as I made my way towards the door, my hand resting on the cool metal handle. Before stepping out, I glanced back at her, checking to see if the sheets were still draped properly over her. To my satisfaction, they were in place, so I confidently twisted the knob and pushed the door open. However, as I peered out into the empty corridor, a sense of confusion and surprise washed over me.

"What the hell", I muttered under my breath, scanning the deserted hallway. Just as I turned back to lock the door, a sudden 'boo' rang out causing me to jump in shock.

I whipped around to see Maani standing there, a mischivieous grin on his face as he giggled at my startled reaction. His hands were pressed against his mouth, trying to stifle his amusement at catching me off guard.

"Shaitaan", I said playfully as I started tickling him, his sweet laughter filled the silent hallway. I could see joy in his eyes as he squirmed and giggled uncontrollably. I couldn't help but smile at his infectious laughter.

"Hahaha", he laughed as I tickled him even more, feeling his tiny body wriggling in my arms. I cherished these moments of pure happiness with my little one, the sound of his laughter echoing through the empty hallway.

It was a simple yet precious moment that I would always hold dear in my heart.

I gently wrapped my arms around him, feeling the warmth of his body agaisnt mine, and began planting tender kisses all over his face. With each peck, he couldn't contain his laughter, squirming playfully in my embrace. Holding him close, I carried him into the room and shut the door behind us.

"Chachu, ab ammu ki tabiyat kaisi hai?", Maani asked, looking at me with his warm oynx eyes, which sparkled with an eager hope as he continued to gaze at me, awaiting my response.

"Alhamdulillah, she is recovering, she is fine now", I replied pressing a soft kiss onto his forehead.

She has recovered so much that we made love last night. it's not like he needs to know those things.

"Allah ka shukar hai", he mumbled back with a smile that revealed delightful dimples on both of his cheeks, making him look even more adorable.

I carried Maani further into the room and noticed Minha sleeping peacefully. The sheets were snugly tucked around her body up to her neck. I felt a rush of relief to see that her neck--marked with red and purple bruises--was hidden beneath the fabric. It was best this way; if Maani saw those marks, he would undoubtedly question their origin.

"How come you came here alone? Didn't Uzair bhai warn you about wandering off by yourself", I asked the little boy who had now settled beside Minha on the bed and now gently caressing her long hair with his tiny hands.

"Yes, baba warned me not to roam around alone, but since mama and baba are sleeping, I sneaked out of the room", he replied a cheeky grin dancing on his lips that hinted at mischief yet filled my heart with warmth.

"Tumhe aisa nahi---ammu ko kya hua?", he suddenly asked catching my attention away from the shirt I was buttoning properly.

Oh no, her neck!

"Ammu", he gently called her out while softly slapping her cheek. She was attempting to stretch her arms, and as she did so, her neck became fully visible.

"Maani, use sone do", I urged in a hurried tone as I quickly strode towards Minha's bed and pulled the sheets over her until only her head was exposed.

"Why is her neck like that?", he questioned, his voice quivering with fear. His lips wobbled as tears began to well up in his eyes; soon enough, he started crying.

"Oh my God..."

"It's just-- it's just mosquito bites, Maani! Yeah, mosquito bites", I hastily reassured him in an attempt to calm his rising panic. But the little guy continued to cry as he pulled back the sheets from Minha's body.

"Mo--mosquito bites?", he stammered through sobs.

"Yes baby", I replied softly while wiping away the tears from his cheeks.

"Chachu, why does ammu have so many red spots on her neck? Did she get bitten by a hundered mosquitoes?", he asked with a innocent look on his face.

I laugh at his question

"Hahaha, nahi, beta, those are just love bites from the love bugs who wanted to give her kisses!", I said as I walk towards him, pulled him closer, wiped his face with my hands and pecked his forehead.

"But why are they only on her neck, chachu? Do the love bugs not like her face or arms?", he asked, his perfect eye brows furrowed in confusion on his small face.

He looked really cute when he furrowed his brows like that; his brows were raised, his teary eyes looked at me innocently, and his lips formed a pout.

"Haha, maybe they just really love her neck! But don't worry, beta, ammu is just fine. It's like when you get a mosquito bite, it'll go away soon", I assured him.

"Oh, okay Chachu! I hope the love bugs don't bite me next time!", he mumbled, making me burst out laughing.
