Minha Ali

"Never. You think you can just walk away from me like that? You're mine, remember? You can't escape me, no matter how hard you try. I'll always find you, always", he said in his deep, throaty voice as he removed his mask. My eyes widened in sheer terror as I finally caught a glimpse of his face.
It was Shabbir----yes, it was him---and my breathe caught in my throat at the sight of that menacing smirk dancing across his lips as he approached me. Fear gripped me tightly, rendering me immobile; I was too terrified to scream for help or call out for Ammi. My voice felt trapped inside my throat, refusing to cooperate as panic surged through me. Tears streamed down my cheeks uncontrollably while I instinctively backed away from him, but he continued to advance with that chillingly dirty smirk etched on his face.
The four walls of the dimly lit closet room seemed to close in around me, suffocating and oppressive, amplifying every sound. The echoing clicks of his shoes agaisnt the floor felt like foreboding echoes in my mind, mingling with the harsh rhythm of my own heavy breathing that betrayed my fear. Tears brimmed in my eyes as I struggled to gather my thoughts admist the chaos within.
"I have been dying to meet you" he said, stepping closer until he stood directly in front of me.
"Main tumse milne ke liye tadap raha tha". His voice laced with an unsettling intensity that sent shivers down my spine. I trembled under his predatory gaze; it felt as if his eyes were piercing through me, searching for vulnerabilities I desperately wanted to conceal. My back pressed against the wall, a physical reminder of how trapped I truly was.
"Leave, get out", I managed to say, though my voice cracked under the weight of trembling fear mixed with frustration at myself for feeling so vulnerable and scared in this moment. Panic clawed at my insides as dark thoughts invaded my mind--- what if he intended to kill me?
What if I was staring death in the face?
The sheer terror threatened to overwhelm me.
"But I don't want to die", a desperate whisper echoed in my thoughts.
"I want to live with Shahmeer; I want us to build a future together". Those wishes flickered like fragile flames admist the looming darkness surrounding me.
"Don't think about him, think about me, think about us", Shabbir whispered against my lips, his words sending a shiver of disgust down my spine.
I opened my eyes to see his intense gaze locked on mine, a sense of unease creeping over me. "There is no us, and never will be", I snapped, my voice filled with determination as I pushed him away with all my strength, causing him to stumble backwards.
"Get out of my room, before I kill you", I shouted angrily, grabbing whatever objects were within reach and hurling them at him. He raised his head, his eyes filled with rage, and narrowly dodged a hair dryer that was aimed at him.
In a swift motion, he slapped me hard across the cheek, causing my head to spin from the force of the impact. "You're such a bitch", he muttered, grabbing a handful of my hair and yanking me towards him. I let out a scream as the pain shot through my scalp, feeling as though he was trying to rip my hair out.
"Kya maanga hai maine tumse, bas pyaar", he said softly as his fingers tightened around my hair, pulling me closer to him. Our faces were inches apart, his gaze intense.
"Tum jaisi ghatiya aur characterless ladki mera pyaar deserve nahi karti", he added his tone now filled with anger. My head throbbed from the pain, and I could see the mixture of hatred, betrayal, and disgust in his eyes as looked at me.
