Anna walked towards the bathroom on the third floor where it was quieter. A few kids were there, chatting away as they lean against the wall.
Anna reached the bathroom door where she thought no one was in there since it was unlocked. She twisted the door knob as her other hand searched for her smartphone in her cute pastel purple pouch where she hid in Fred's room, scared of people stealing them. But she shouldn't worry about it actually, Fred had spy cameras hidden almost everywhere.
Anna pushed the bathroom door wide open, revealing to juniors making out. "Ahhh," Anna screamed shortly. The teenagers released the kiss, pulling each other tight to their bodies and was in shock after someone just interrupted their session. "Sorry!" She closed the door quickly then went and look for another quiet room.
She can't exactly see the couple but probably they were Danny and Sam. She shook of the disturbing memory and went on looking. It's a good thing she didn't see it all. She only saw the golden sink, tub and toilet seat with a glittery pink seat warmer. She saw Sam sitting on Danny's lap or something like that but she didn't get to see if they were naked or doing other inapropriate things, not that she wanted to.
Anna walked down the hall with red carpet laid on the floor and gigantic pictures of Fred and his family on the wall in giant gold frames.
Anna found a closet room after a turn and went in it. The size of it was really big, as big as a normal bedroom. Anna sat on the floor under a few blazers and formal jackets hung over hanger racks above her. She took out her green smartphone and rang Astrid.
"Hello?" A female voice was heard through her phone with cricket sounds in the background implying that she is not at the party. She sounded like she was in a peaceful area with no people.
"Astrid, where are you? You promised to be at the party at 8 o' clock," Anna snapped.
"I'm just five minutes late you know?" Astrid sounded so calm.
Anna was about to say something but a part of her body made her turn to look at the time on her phone. It was only 8:05 p.m.. "Oh, sorry?" Anna laughed shortly and nervously.
Astrid giggled after hearing how clueless her friend sounded.
"Okay, it feels like forever." Anna stated. It was true to her.
"Okay, okay. I tell you what, how about you wait for me at the front porch?"
"Naa'h. Way too many people." Anna shook her head.
"Okay, then wait for me on the sidewalk." Astrid suggested.
"Okay, I'll be there. Don't be too late."
"Kay, see you later." And with that Anna hung up and went outside to the sidewalk.

"Should I tell Anna?" Astrid asked herself. "No, no I can't."
"But I don't want to see him." She started walking back and forth at the peaceful parking lot with just a few cars in front of Taco Shack. "But I can't let Anna down." She was confused. She was in her pastel blue coloured crop top over a black singlet, a mini skirt with printed tiny white skulls on it and brown boots. She also had a yellowish brown sling bag hanging on her right shoulder.
"Astrid?" A familiar voice was heard. Astrid turned around in a complete shock. There was her ex, looking handsome like always. He was wearing his black tight shiny jacket, a light red t-shirt inside, dark blue jeans and black sneakers. His hair was in normal shape, still with a few braids she made when they were together.
He just came out of the Taco Shack with a drink in his right hand and his other hand was in his pocket, protecting it from the cold.
"Hiccup, what are you doing at Taco Shack?" She was nervous. Her heart skipped a beat. There he was standing a few feet away but still, she felt like they were just inches away. The only reason why she didn't wanted to go to the party was because she doesn't want to see him but there he was. Astrid really can't concentrate. She didn't know what to do.
"Uhh, I bought drinks for me." He hesitated and let out a small laugh along with a seductive smile.
"But there are drinks at the party." Astrid caught him red handed. She said in an Astrid-natural way.
"Well, actually I'm not going to the party." Hiccup looked down to his shoes.
God, Astrid sighed in her heart. Now what. "Why not?" She frowned, looking at her hot ex.
"I don't know. I just don't feel like I wanted to go. I'm not in the mood for partying right now." To Astrid, it wasn't really a reasonable answer. She felt really annoyed to hear that. But she saw an oppurtunity to go to the party. She really did didn't want to go if Hiccup's there. But now, Hiccup's not going to be there.
"Well, so, I'm going to be late for the party. And if I am, Anna's going to kill me." Astrid took a few steps back, smiling nervously. She wanted the time to move faster because she felt awkward for leaving Hiccup there after the awkward conversation.
"Oh, you're going to the party?" Hiccup widened his eyes, looking at Astrid. Astrid knew that look. It means he's deciding. He's deciding something. What do you want now? Astrid whispered annoyingly in her heart.
"A'hah." She nodded since there was nothing else to do.
"Well if you're going then I'm going." Hiccup smiled like there was nothing wrong with changing his mind after what just happened.
"Oh. Okay then." Astrid gave him an insincere smile.
What? Astrid thought. She felt a combination of mad and annoyed but she knew she couldn't back out this time. She had no choice but to just walk with him to the party. The moment got more awkward when they walked down the pavement. The quiet pavement.
"So, what made you change your mind?" Astrid's voice filled the quiet surrounding while they were walking down the lane. She wanted to know the truth. She wanted to dig the secret out of Hiccup. She knew there was something that Hiccup was not telling her. But she had this one smart thought in her mind - Did he feel the same way?
"I don't know. Suddenly, in the mood. I don't know what happened," Hiccup said without thinking properly. He just really wanted to move on to another question.
"Yeah, right." Astrid was annoyed but Hiccup thought she was just playing. "You know, you can just tell me the truth. You don't have to lie."
"Okay. Well actually Jack invited me to the party, I just, well..." He didn't have the words to say.
Astrid stopped walking and faced Hiccup. He did the same. Astrid held her sling bag with one hand and waited patiently for Hiccup to answer. They were getting nearer to Fred's house since a song was heard - 'Do It Like A Dude by Jessie J'.
"Well, it's just that we-" Hiccup looked away, can't really finnish his sentence. "We just seemed-"
"Astrid!" Astrid turned her attention towards Anna who was standing about 40 meters away. Hiccup still had his eyes on Astrid but then Astrid walked a little faster towards Anna.
"Oh, that's Anna, I guess I'll see you later," Astrid looked back at Hiccup. She wasn't sure of what to say. She smiled at Hiccup before she ran towards Anna, leaving him walking behind.
"Astrid, finally! Okay, this time I checked. You are twenty minutes late." Hiccup heard Anna say as she grabbed Astrid inside the house. Astrid turned her head towards Hiccup, taking a glimpse of him. He waved godbye and she replied it with a smile. This time, a sincere smile.
