It was Sport's Day and Jack, was about to compete in the 400 metres pass baton along with Hiccup, Dash and Sulley, representing the Emerald house.

The sun was scorching and everyone was trying to find a shady place to sit. The boys were getting ready when someone tapped Jack on the shoulder.

"Elsa, what're you doing here?" Jack examined if Hans was around. He didn't want to get into another fight even if he had promised, he still can't be trusted.

Elsa was in a red attire, representing the Ruby along with Astrid. Her white hair was tied into a high ponytail and she was carrying a brown sling bag when she was came up to him. "I need to tell you something." Her eyes squinting as she said it but still, her face looked serious.

Jack knew that it was about his love life problems. About whether to choose Elsa or Toothiana. He wasn't ready to listen. Especially at a time like this. But it was a chance. An opportunity to get to know. And, he was not going to miss it.

He walked closer to Elsa, making sure that no one else listens. "Jack, I think you should try to think carefully-" Obviously she got off to a wrong start but she didn't stop anyway. "-about who you really love." She looked at him, trying to avoid the sun shining. "I mean, you don't know a lot about me and Hans does." Hans. For the first time ever, Jack didn't care. He didn't care if Elsa would end up with Hans. Because he, himself knew that he wasn't good enough for Elsa. There were still mistakes that he needed to fix such as his friendship with Toothiana.

"Jack, Hans has changed a lot and I like him." Elsa noticed that Jack didn't look hurt at all and that was a good sign. "You don't have to worry about me. Just worry about Tooth because I know deep down, you love her." Jack was snapped into realization. He did like Toothiana. He just didn't realise it yet until now.

"Frost! Get your butt over here. You have plenty more time to talk to your girlfriend!" The captain of the Emerald house yelled, pointing at him and Elsa. His saliva was sprayed out as he talked.

"I'm not his girlfriend," Elsa shouted back politely but the captain didn't seem to care.

Jack faced back to Elsa with a no more confused look. "Good luck Frost. And you know what I mean when I said that." She smiled and walked towards Hans who was standing like about ten feet behind them.

Jack nodded as his feet shuffled towards his captain who was giving some good advice to Hiccup and the others before starting the race.

"Hey Jack." Jack turned around to see Hans calling out to him. Elsa was standing behind him. "Break a leg." Jack nodded to him as a sign to say 'thank you'. Elsa was right, he did change. And, she was also right about the other thing.

"Okay Frost, you're running for the last round since you're the fastest. Dash will go first then Sulley then Hiccup then you. Got it?" He sounded like a coach especially when he called them by their last name.

"Got it coach, I mean Baxter," Jack hesitated. He shook his head as he correct himself.

"Listen here you. You can't call me by my last name. Only I can call you by your last name." He sprayed some of his saliva onto Jack's face. He went closer to him and pointed at his chest.

"I'm sorry." Jack closed his eyes to prevent from saliva entering his eyes. He flinched away while he said it.

"Now go!" The captain shouted.

Jack waited for his turn and when Hiccup was up, he went into his lane and got ready to take the baton from his friend. He was facing in front, his body was bent over a little, his hair was pushed up so that they won't cover his view and his right hand was behind him, ready to recieve the shiny metal.

People were cheering and screaming but it was all silent to Jack. The only thing he could hear was voices.

"When you're in love with two people, choose the second one because if you really love the first, you wouldn't have fallen for the second."

"Just follow your heart. There's always one person that you're heart chooses."

"Just worry about Tooth because I know deep down, you love her."

Jack closed his eyes in the hot atmosphere. A drop of sweat flowed down the middle of his forehead from his hair to the bridge of his nose when he started running as soon as the baton reaches his hand. "Go Jack!" He heard Hiccup said to him.

People saw him ran like the grass was on fire but to him, it felt like the wind carried him all the way to the finnishing line. Everyone was cheering. The Emerald house won the 400 metres pass baton.

But Jack didn't stop running. He ran towards the main gate of the school, to the road, to the blocks of houses. He ignored the people questioning him, "where are you going Jack?"

Because he knew what he had to do. He knew what he had to do. He knew who he had to see.

"He's gonna get Tooth." Hans smiled, proud of him like he was his son. He put an arm around Elsa's shoulders before she whispered, "go get her Jack."
