Deceit

We all were rushed inside the building and when finally inside we were greeted with a man. 

"You kids doing all right?" he asked. "Sorry about all the fuss we had ourselves a little bit of a swarm." He explained. 

"Who are you?" Thomas asked. 

"Im the reason you're all still alive." He said. 

I felt my hand reach for Minho's and he was right there and he whispered, "Whatever you do, do not leave my side." 

I nodded and we followed the man, "You can call me Mr. Janson, I run this place." The man announced. "For us it is a sanctuary from the horrors of the outside world." 

"Are you taking us home?" Thomas asked. 

"A home of sorts," Janson answered. He led us to a door and swiped his key card, "First things first, let's do something about that smell."

The warm water hitting my bare body felt like heaven and I heard whoops and cheers from the guys. I smiled and leaned back into the water and ran my hands through my hair. I sighed in relief. 

Once we were done showering, we were brought to a lab where we were treated and tested. Minho and I were both placed on a treadmill and I looked at him and he said, "Let's see who's faster." I rolled my eyes and laughed. 

After all the testing was over with, we were led to a cafeteria where we saw other people who were stuck in the Maze. We saw Thomas enter the room and I smiled and walked over to him. He gave me a quick hug and I said, "Tommy we weren't the only maze." 

I led him to our table where we were sitting with two other guys who were explaining what happened in the maze. 

"What about the rest?" newt asked. "The other people in the maze what happened to them?" 

"Dunno," The kid said, "I guess, WCKD still has them." 

"How long you guys been here?" Newt asked. 

"Not long. Only a day or two." He answered, "That kid over there, he's been here the longest, almost a week. His maze was full of girls." 

"Really?" Minho asked and I slapped him on the back of the head. He groaned and I smiled. 

"yup. Guess some guys have all the luck." The kid said. 

"Good evening Gentleman, ladies." Janson announced. 

I leaned in towards Minho and said, "He looks like a rat." Minho snickered and said, "Maybe we should call him rat man." I flashed him a smile and Newt hit us both on the back of our heads and we groaned. 

we focused our attention back towards Janson who continued, "You're new lives are about to begin. Connor, Evelyn, Justin, Peter, Allison, Squiggy, Franklin, and Abigail." A series of groans were heard around the room and he said, "Now, now, if I could take more I would, but there is always tomorrow. Your time will come. Eat up." 

"Where are they going?" I asked. 

"Somewhere far from here." The kid answered. "Lucky bastards." He mumbled. 

I sighed and looked around only to see Teresa walking with a doctor through the glass. I looked at Thomas who noticed as well and we both stood up. "Jeez that's freaky. They are in sync." I heard Fry say. 

"Hey Teresa. Teresa!" Thomas said, him and I walking over to a door guarded by two guards. 

As we approached the Guard pushed us back. "Hey hey hey," He said. 

"Where are they taking her?" I asked. 

"They just need to run a few more tests. Your friend will be joining you shortly." The guard explained and I wasn't buying it. But i felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Minho and he nodded and I reluctantly walked back to my seat.
