- Kendras POV -

I groaned as I was being led into a lab on a table. I heard a doctor say, "You realize this could kill her right? Taking this much at once." 

"I have my orders, janson wants it all." Someone else said. 

Goddamn rat man. I was probably going to die. I knew they were draining blood. But I was honestly surprised there was any blood left. I had felt my life slip away from me day by day, I could feel it being drained, taken away from me, like it was something that belonged to someone else and they desperately wanted it back.

- Minhos POV -

"Someone moved her to the medical wing," Teresa said to me, looking at a computer with Kendras face on it. My breath hitched at the sight of her and Teresa said, "That's on the other side of the building." 

"Take me to her. Right now." I ordered. 

"All right, I'm coming with you." Thomas said. 

I nodded and I looked at Newt, "Round up the kids, stay with Gally, get the serum." Newt nodded and said, "Be safe, and bring our girl back to us." 

I nodded and we started to move and Gally said, "Hey Greenie," Thomas turned around and Gally said, "Goodluck." 

Thomas nodded and looked at me and we set off to find Kendra. We walked through the building until we came to an elevator and I pressed the button. It felt like it was taking forever so I clicked again and three more times. The door opened and I let out a sigh of relief. 

We watched as the doors began to close and all of a sudden, a hand came through the doors, stopping them from closing. "Hold it." Janson said as he stepped into the elevator. 

Rat man. The grip on my gun tightened and Janson looked at Teresa and said, "You're working late." 

She nervously chuckled and he said, "See that's what I like about you Teresa," creep much? " No matter how bleak things get you just... well, you never give up." I rolled my eyes and he continued, "Times like this, you, just need a friend that you can count on," Okay absolute weirdo, I'm surprised Thomas hasn't put a bullet in Jansons head yet because if this was Kendra, Janson would be dead. 

"I'll bear that in mind." Teresa said. 

For a moment, the only noise was Teresas breathing. 

"There is one thing you should know," Janson said, "One friend to another, Thomas is here," He looked at Teresa and I looked to Thomas who looked at me and then we faced back forwards, "A surveillance picked him up outside the walls." Janson explained, "Ava didn't want you to know, but there is a chance that he may try to contact you, and if he does, well.. I'd like to think that I'd be your first call." 

Teresa looked at him and said, "Are you going to kill him?" 

"Would that be a problem?" Janson asked. 

The elevator door rung and she said, "This is me," Nodding towards the door. 

We followed her out, but I hit my shoulder against Jansons as we did so. Thomas and I gave him a quick look back, and continued to walk forwards. 

"Thomas you have to listen to me," Teresa said as we walked, "getting that serum won't save Newt, it'll buy him some time but-" 

I cut her off, "Just ignore her, she's trying to get in your head." 

"Thomas listen," she pleaded, "You know what's going on out there. People are dying, the world is dying. There is something about you blood and Kendras blood together I don't understand." 

"Open it." Thomas order, nodding towards the door. 

She opened the door and said, "If you let me run some tests, I promise I can protect you-" we walked through the door and Thomas took his mask off and said, "Yeah? Like you protected my sister?" 

"What are you doing?" I asked. He should not be taking of his mask where anyone can see him. 

"How many people is it gonna take?" Thomas asked, "How many more people are you going to have to round up, torture, kill? huh? When the hell does it stop?" 

"It stops when we find a cure," Teresa said. 

I rolled my eyes, "There is no goddamn cure." I said. 

"don't waste your breathe Teresa," We heard Janson say, coming up behind her, holding a gun. 

Thomas and I both held up our guns and Janson said, "He made his choice long ago." 

"Drop it kid!" We heard a guard yell, while he ran towards us.

Then Thomas held his gun to Teresas head and said, "Tell him to drop it, tell them to back off!" 

"Hey thomas, it's me," Janson said, "I've known you longer than you can remember, you're not gonna shoot her." 

"You don't think so?" thomas questioned. 

"Okay," Janson said, "Go on then," he put down his gun, "shoot her. Prove me wrong. Shoot her." 

Suddenly Teresa pushed Thomas and I inside the door and pulled the lever, slamming it shut. Thomas stared at her for a moment before taking off and I threw my mask off and stared down Janson and followed behind him. 

I heard Gally over the walkie say, "Newt took the serum." 

I let out a sigh of relief and we kept going. We turned a corner and came face to face with Ava Paige. We all froze and just stared at eachother before Thomas pulled a gun out and pointed it at her. 

I saw Janson out of the corner of my eye and ran to Thomas and said, "Thomas! No!" and pulled him away before the bullet hit him. Janson shot at us and we ran away. 

"Kendra!" Thomas yelled. 

"Kendra!" I yelled. 

Two more guards came infront of us and we shot them and Thomas swore and I yelled, "Kendra!"
