A Way Out

Decison

"Kendra watch out!" Minho yelled and I realized there was a fence sperating me from the ugly ass creature. "Get back, get back." He said and wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me backwards. 

"Her eyes!" I said. I looked at the thing and saw that she had no eyes, just black and redness surrounding where her eyes should be. She looked like she was stung except ten times worse. 

Another creature, but a boy this time started coming over to us and Minho put me behind him. He took a shovel he found and chucked it at the thing. 

"What the hell is that thing?" He asked. 

We both started to run as two other things apporached us. We slammed the doors on us and Minho said, "Move that metal thing!" I nodded and he held the doors and I pushed against the metal thing and it felk in front of the door. 

We both ran as several other creatures started coming towards us. He grabbed my hand and we ran up an old escelator. We saw our friends and Minho yelled, "Run!" 

We all ran and Minho yelled, "Do not let go of me!" 

"No shit!" I yelled and we kept running. 

"What the hell are those things?" Thomas yelled and I yelled, "I don't know! Just run!" 

We ran up another set of escelators and came across another creature. "Shit!" Thomas yelled. 

"Aris no!" Newt yelled as Aris approached the thing with a metal pole, knocking him off his feet. 

We kept running and one of the things caught up to Minho and I and I took a flashlight and hit him in the face. He fell to the ground and Minho nodded at me and we kept running. 

One of the things fell on Newt and I yelled, "Newt!" 

Newt struggled underneath the thing and I lunged at it, kicking it in the face and helped Newt up. "Thanks love!" He yelled and we kept running. 

Minho's hand found mine again and he pushed us through a door. We ran down a hallway until we came across a door. "This one!" Thomas yelled. We all pushed against it as Winston yelled, "I'll hold them off!" 

We finally got the door open and as Winston went to go inside, a thing latched onto his stomach and started to claw at him. I winced as Thomas and I yanked at him to get pulled inside. We finally got him inside and there was blood and scratch marks all up and down his stomach. 

Minho and I helped him up and Thomas held the door and we all hd behind a wall and Thomas ran and we lost the creatures. 

We wrapped winstons stomach and all set down our bags and laid on them. I laid a piece of clothing over me to help keep me warm but it didn't do much. My teeth kept chattering and I could not go to bed. 

"Kendra I can't sleep with all that teeth chattering," Minho whispered. 

I sighed and said, "It-s so- c-cold." 

He sighed and wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in tight to his chest. His body warmth made my teeth stop chattering and he said, "Better?" I nodded and fell asleep.

"Hey! Hey! Get outta here!" I heard Thomas yell and groaned and buried my face into Minho's chest. 

Minho sighed and I looked over my shoulder and saw Thomas standing up. I cleared my throat and looked at minho who laid his head back down. 

"Are they gone?" Newt asked. 

"Yeah, I think we are safe for now." Thomas said, "We should get moving." 

I sighed and just snuggled into Minho's chest more, trying to savor the warmth. "C'mon sleepy head." He said and I sighed and stood up.
