Adhvik's pov

Hurt.
Betrayal.
Anger.
Pain.
Heartbreak.

I don't think i can ever sort out my emotions right now.

Everything shattered in some moments.
Everything was a lie.
Everything was just a facade just to make me, my family, an easy target.

How can you do this to me, Brinda Mittal?
How can you just make me fall in love with you irrecoverbly and then make me hate myself for that?
How could you easily use someone?
How can business be so important to someone that emotions start losing their value?

You are just like my father, except he never tried to hide his real face from the world, unlike you!

Is it that easy to just toy with someone's entire existence?

I was walking down the road blankly and drenched it the heavy downpour resembling my inner turmoil. I feel so stupid right now.

Why didn't they just let me die that day!!?
Why did they have to get me to the hospital!?

"Adhuuu!" I heard Brinda Mittal calling me, and i turned back coming face to face with her. She was completely drenched in the rain.

"Don't call me that!" I said rudely, looking directly into her eyes. She looked at me for a moment and took a deep breath.

"Adhvik, i need to talk to you! It's urgent." She said.

"I am all ears." I said, looking at her with boring expression.

"Here?" She asked, frowning looking around. We were in the middle of the road where anyone could spot us arguing and drenched in rain, but i don't care.

"If you want to talk, then okay. Otherwise, i am leaving!" I said sternly.

"I am fine with the rain, but you just got discharged from the hospital! You'd fall sick!" She said, looking concerned.

Don't fall for it, Adhvik.

"Don't you get tired?" I asked.

"Huh?" She looked at me confused.

"Tired of pretending to care for me, to lo.. love me?" I asked, looking at her expressions, changing from confusion to hurt.

"You think i don't care about you at all?" She said, chuckling bitterly.

"I don't know! You are the one who is planning and plotting to hurt my family with that restaurant guy!" I almost yelled.

"Planning? plotting? Destroying your family? Are you even listening to yourself?" She asked, matching my tone.

"Trust me, it was hard for me to believe too, but unfortunately, you can't fool me. Not anymore!" I said sternly.

"You are getting everything wrong. Nishtha came to a conclusion just hearing half of the conversation!" She explained.

"Ohh, so what is exactly the full conversation? How else would you torture my father?" I accused her. I am not in the right mind to have this conversation.

We should talk later. I am just going to hurt her, hurt us. I don't want to say things i don't mean.

"He deserves it, Adhvik. He deserves every bit of torture! Do you want to know why i actually broke up with you!?" She asked, looking at me hopefully.

"Mind when you are talking about my father, Ms. Mittal! Also I'd prefer if you'd call me Mr. Rathore and i don't know how the topic of break up came in between, but you broke up because of your father! At least that's the lie you fed me back then!" I spatted.
