It's been a week since my party and Henry won't return any of my messages. When he kissed me I was confused and had so many different emotions flowing through me. I've never been with a guy before but it was amazing- yeah it was just one kiss but like still

I'm rambling in my own head

"Alex" I wonder if Henry is thinking about me

"ALEX" my mother snaps me out of my trance "hm?" I say as I look up at her "Do you know if the prince will be your plus one at the state dinner next week?" I shrug "no idea ma" she nods "well you my darling need to figure that out because I have the senator coming and I need you to set a good example" I smile

"Of course" she smiles back "go tell June that I need to speak to her" she orders me and I nod "got it"

I walk to the first floor of the White House and find June in her office "alexxxx" I hear Nora's voice as I enter the room "whoop whoop it's a party in here" I joke and they roll their eyes "you killed the mood" June informs me

"Ma wants to talk to you" I inform her back and she groans "later. I wanna catch up with you both" she says "first, Nora" nora smiles

"Okayyy so remember Percy, the princes friend??" She asks and me and my sister collectively nod "sooo we're kinda talking ish I don't know! He sent me flowers and we've been calling every day since. He's perfect" she starts gushing and I fake gag

"Oh shut up Alex! Okay you're next" my best friend nudges me "umm not much happening, yeah nope-not at all" they both eye me

"Liar!" June yells and I roll my eyes and grab a pillow to throw at her "ok.. so at my party Henry kinda kissed me.." I say the last part quietly and they both have their mouth wide open "no fucking way" June says and Nora giggles "CALLED IT!" She says as she dances around and I groan

"It didn't mean anything. We were drunk and he hasn't messaged me since that night!" They nod "soooo are you gay?" June blurts out "I have no idea- I like woman but Henry. He uh I don't know. I'm bi yeah let's settle with that" they both nod

"Sooo are y'all together?" June asks "no. He's been ignoring me since the kiss" I tell them sadly "weird"

"Alex I told you to tell June to come talk to me and what do I come and see? You all gossiping for no reason" my mothers stern voice "you come with me and Alex call the prince and figure out if he's coming" I nod and And go to Zahars office

"Hey uh can you maybe text shaan" I say and she looks up in disgust "for?" I sigh "see if Henry is gonna be my plus one to the dinner" she nods "yeah I will" I smile "thank you"

I walk to my room and check my phone as I send one last message I realize I'm blocked

He kissed me then blocked me. Causing me to have a full on gay crisis. He can't play with me like that- he can't treat me like this
