  "I have no idea but I'm bailing"
 
  I grab her arm
 
  "Oh no you don't"
 
  "Let her go they are fine"
 
  I look up at Carter who really doesn't care
 
  "Yeah let her go, I know I don't do the whole social thing but even this is a little much for me. So yeah bye"
 
  I growl as she runs off. We stop at my locker, Daniel stands to the side scratching the back of his head awkwardly. But then Carter freezes, making me look up at him. So many emotions from all around the place hit me one after the other. As I slowly turn around the crowd is just staring at me, then it starts from the left going to the right. They start to clap and cheer, happiness hits me one after the other. I look to Carter for some insight
 
  "Damn they really hated those two"
 
  He shrugs, not paying them any attention as I grab what I need and watch as they clear the area so we could pass, some of them hit his shoulders and mine. He frowns yanking me in front on him and he growls clearing the area
 
  "I appreciate the love but don't touch her EVER"
 
  All of their hands go in the air and I facepalm, my face goes bright red. This is ridiculous. He pulls me in under his arm and he glares at anyone that gets too close and he walks me to class. We take a seat at the back and he pulls me onto his knee. I pull out my work ignoring the stares as he buries his head in the crook of my neck kissing the skin, Daniel groans rolling his eyes taking the seat behind me. The teacher comes in pausing when she sees Carter.
 
  "Mr Mcgregor, what are you doing in my class?"
 
  He groans looking at her and placing a toothpick in his mouth. He grins at her
 
  "Im part of Carlys protection detail"
 
  She smirks resting on the desk pulling her glasses off her head
 
  "Congratulations on the new job, I had higher hopes for you though. Always thought you were meant for great things"
 
  I glare at her
 
  "Well considering Carly is the greatest thing ever to walk the earth I think I'm pretty damn lucky to have obtained the position I'm currently in"
 
  He winks at her and I smile to myself, she chuckles nodding her head
 
  "Well played, either way in my class Carly needs to sit on her own chair without your assistance, you can take the seat in front of her or behind her but you can't interrupt or distract her"
 
  He pouts rolling his eyes, he grabs my face kissing me. I groan as he smiles against my lips
 
  "I love you Carly cù"
 
  "I love you too, now go sit up there I'm making your presents"
 
  He huffs pecking my lips again, then he gets up taking the seat in front of me, he pulls out his phone and puts earbuds in his ears and gets to work as we start our individual projects. I had been working on this for a while, it was based of a dream me and Carter had as kids and if I concentrate I know I'll be able to finish it and have it sent off to the printers today so it would be ready in time for his birthday. So I got stuck in not lifting my head until I got it finished up.
 
  When I was done I brought it to the front for the teacher to check the dimensions. I look up and realise Carter's watching me and then the pain hits my hand burning it. I Yelp jumping on the spot and shaking it out as he grabs his own. I glare at him and he grins at me winking.
 
  "This is incredible carly, everything is perfect you could probably start building the model in class tomorrow"
 
  I grin lifting it up
 
  "Thank you, can I use the scanner?"
 
  "Go for it"
 
  I scan it into the system then send it to myself, I go back to my seat rolling it up and putting it away. Then I link dad
 
  Me
  'Dad I'm sending you what I made Carter for his birthday, can you have it printed up immediately and sent back in time for his birthday?'
 
  Jaxon
  'Of Course kid'
 
  Me
  'Don't talk about the details incase he's listening but tell me what you think'
 
  I type up the email and I send it straight over to dad.
 
  Jaxon
  'You drew these?'
 
  Me
  'Yeah do you like them?'
 
  Jaxon
  'They are incredible, he will love it. Are you making a model?'
 
  Me
  'I will be but not in time for his birthday'
 
  Jaxon
  'I want to see it when it's finished. This is amazing sweetie, well done I'll have them printed up and delivered ASAP'

  2 days later..
 
  I skipped training so I could prepare Carter's birthday gift for him. Things had been going so well, I was totally In love with him, head over heels and so excited to show him what I had made. Because I wasn't going to training he spent the morning with me in his arms huffing.
 
  "It's my birthday, this feels more like a punishment then it does a present"
 
  "Would you stop being a big sook Carter? I swear it's like your balls shriveled up, dead and fell off the minute she marked you"
 
  I snort at jaxon and hysterically laugh pounding on the breakfast island as Carter glares at him. Mum slaps dad round the back of the head
 
  "Like your any better"
 
  Carter grins at mum, smirking at dad then he pulls me flush against his chest.
 
  "Ok fine but make sure Daniel is with you, don't go anywhere without him and when you're done come say hey to me ok? Promise"
 
  "I promise now go, the faster I start the faster I'm done"
 
  He kisses me again then he lets me up as Daniel walks in looking happy.
 
  "Happy birthday Carter"
 
  "Thank you Daniel, stay with her and no touching, and if anyone else touches her break their fingers so they learn their lesson"
