  "Don't care, I still can't believe it. Let's go talk to dad to see when we can start building it"
 
  I chuckle shaking my head
 
  "Your crazy, but I love you"
 
  "I love you too"
 
  He carries me back to the house and mums patiently waiting for us as we arrive
 
  "So what did you think?"
 
  "I love it, I want to start building it straight away"
 
  She chuckles pouring us coffee
 
  "Well I think dads been talking to the team, he said it shouldn't take long to build depending on the materials you want to use"
 
  Dads walk in soon, skipping over to mum and kissing her head. Scott goes to the table and flicks through the pages
 
  "What's all this?"
 
  I was surprised my parents hadn't told him
 
  "That is what Carly made me for my birthday, she wants to build us our dream house"
 
  "This is the upside down house? Carly you drew these?"
 
  "Yeah do you like them"
 
  He frowns looking at me
 
  "Eh yeah, I had no idea you were this smart these are incredible"
 
  I blush at the attention, jaxon lifts them and places them to the side
 
  "Well my people are on it"
 
  I was giddy with excitement
 
  "Really? You're actually going to build it for us?"
 
  He rolls his eyes
 
  "Ofcourse I am, but"
 
  He sticks his finger in the air looking between me and carter
 
  "You're not moving into it until you're married. That's the rule"
 
  We both shrug, Carter grins
 
  "So when can we get married"
 
  "Not until she is 18"
 
  I groan that seems so long away. 2 years of no sex seems impossible.
 
  "It won't be so bad, plus it will give you time to plan that dream day of yours"
 
  I purge my lips, it would be amazing to have the big white wedding i've always dreamed off, I look to Scott who's grinning
 
  "As long as you help"
 
  "Ofcourse I will, oh I'm so excited"
 
  He jumps on the spot grinning at mum
 
  "Hell yes dad can sort the house I'll sort the wedding oh I'm so excited"
 
  I giggle as we sit down for breakfast when Dale, Greg and Lexi arrive. We barely talk as we devour our food, I eat one of everything
 
  "I don't understand how you can eat so much and still be that skinny"
 
  Greg asks me I shrug
 
  "We think it's because she's off 3 hellhounds, burns more calories or something"
 
  I don't even acknowledge them to busy stuffing my face with a little bit of everything. When I'm done I fall back on Carter's knee and he chuckles as I rub my flat stomach. When we are done it's present time. Dale, Lexi and Greg start by handing over a small box to Carter. Inside is a Rolex watch, his eyes fly open in surprise
 
  "Shit really? You didn't have to do this but thank you"
 
  He pulls it out putting it on and smiling, my parents hand him a box next he opens it and I grin
 
  "Holy shit you got me a car?"
 
  "Actually we had Aspen make you one. It's out front"
 
  He practically throws me off him and sprints outside making everyone but me laugh hysterically. I on the other hand huff annoyed. But as he's about to run out the door he stops running back and lifting me up then he carries me out with him making me giggle
 
  "Sorry I just got excited"
 
  We make it outside and I gasp at the Matt black car. Carter jumps on the spot excitedly
 
  "429 boss mustang. It's so so pretty"
 
  He kisses me, setting me on his feet as he opens the car door and looks all around it. Our parents come out to watch his reaction. Mum has the camera in all of our faces. The woman has more home movies than sense. I smirk at her as she follows Carter around the car then he stops standing up
 
  "This is the best birthday i've ever had thank you all so much"
 
  He looks emotional as he comes back to my side kissing my head
 
  "Thank you for accepting me. Life was so boring when you hated me"
 
  "Yeah it was pretty unspectacular for me too"

  2 years later...
 
  It had been 2 years of non stop training, planning and building. I had just finished training with Daniel, rob and max. They were my security detail and followed me around all day everyday and trained me in the morning and evening. They would train me 3 against one, Carter was so paranoid that I would be taken so he wanted to be sure I was trained to my full potential. That every gift that I possessed would be elevated and perfected. My muscles were sore as I stretched out having completed training. I had gotten my ass kicked but I also kicked ass.
 
  "How'd it go?"
 
  Carter asks me coming over I groan falling into his chest
 
  "Everything hurts"
 
  He scoops me up bridal style kissing my head. Gone was his baby face and in place was a perfectly defined jaw with a sexy 5 o'clock shadow, his dirty brown hair was long, curly and messy on top and at the sides. He was so tall, taller than my fathers and that is hard to compete with but add his muscle density and rock hard abs and he is a sight to behold. To everyone but my family he is terrifying, to me he's a big kitten.
 
  "She did good, really good actually and she didn't use any of her powers and still kicked our asses"
 
  Daniel puts his fist out to me and I bump it and he grins. He was like an older brother to me, he had been by my side every minute of every day for the last 8 years. He still comes to school with me everyday, Carter comes most days but max and rob are always there too. I was untouchable to many. Both literally and figuratively. I've seen Carter break people's fingers for touching me before.
 
  This one poor kid didn't know what hit him. He was only walking past and he tripped falling into me. I nearly had a heart attack when Carter broke his fingers that day. He carries me into the house holding me as we sit down for breakfast mum looks at me worried
 
  "Your training her too hard Carter she needs a break love"
 
  Daniel, rob and max sit down with us, they eat every meal with us too. Basically part of the family.
 
  "I agree I feel like shit"
 
  I tell them as Mum adds extra to my plate and hands it over taking my hand in hers and she heals me. I moan falling back more relaxed then I had been in a while
 
  "Wow that feels good"
 
  "Mum you shouldn't do that incase you remove her muscle memory"
 
  I roll my eyes pouting up at him
 
  "But I'm tired Carter, so fucking tired"
 
  He groans kissing me and pulling me tighter towards him
 
  "Fine you can have a break, you don't need to train this evening"
 
  "Good because we are going dress shopping"
 
  I grin at dad as he takes a seat filling his plate
 
  "Really? Is Ashley coming?"
 
  "Yes Ashley, fay and Ella will be here after school and we are heading into the city"
 
  Carter growls
 
  "Why the city? She needs more guards if she's going to the city why did you not tell me I would have arranged something"
 
  "Son relax, me, your mum, rob, max and Daniel will be with her, Ashley's coming with Toby, fay and Ella are coming with their guards. She is more protected than the damn president"
 
  He chews on his lip nervously, closing his eyes as he frantically checks through all my possible futures. I'm not sure what had gotten into him lately but he was always worried about me. Iv checked myself and I see nothing unusual but it's like his gut is telling him something is wrong.
 
  "I'm going as well"
