  Daniel comes to the door as dads get out and I check everyone's thoughts when they do to make sure her scent isn't too strong for them to handle. When I'm satisfied I nod to Daniel who opens the door as him and dads shield her from the many many men who are dying to mate with my mate.
 
  We rushed out and up the steps to our home, max was at the door.
 
  "Welcome home, the place has been cleared, if you hear any thoughts I need to be worried about let me know and other than that nobody but you and the Luna will be staying here tonight anyway"
 
  "Thanks max we can talk properly later"
 
  Max had a mate so he never did overnight trips away, instead he stayed behind to train the new recruits and pre select the best so I can make the final decision when they complete the tests he has planned out. He opens the door for us as my parents rush in with our bags leaving them at the door.
 
  "The pills are next to the bed, I'll link when dinner is ready and I'll have 2 plates made up and brought over. Just link me when it dies down a little"
 
  Just then she cries out, a pained heartbreaking cry, like she's in the worst pain that she could ever imagine
 
  "I need to bring her down, I'll let you know when it's over"
 
  I didn't wait to say goodbye, I was too busy being extremely worried about my beautiful mate to care about niceties. I bring her to our room and lay her on the bed, stripping the shirt and shorts from her body, I close and lock the door and leave her so I can smoke on the balcony and make sure nobody can get in here. It's the way she designed it and I trusted those designs but I needed to make sure.
 
  The first floor was far off the ground, really our first floor was more like 1 and a half floors high, the balconies attached to the bedrooms here were small but held everything that you would need. We were high up and the only entrance was a floor higher than that and she had made the ceilings higher than usual so there was no hope of anyone getting in and out of here without making a lot of noise. I finish my smoke and return to the room as she lays whimpering in bed.
 
  I strip off naked and I climb in beside her, pulling her body onto mine as I turn on the tv. She stretches out over my body like a starfish and sighs happily as I choose a random show and hold her.

  Carly's POV

  I watch a little girl I'd never seen before dance around the back decking of our house, she was around 9 or 10 and my heart was full of love for her. She was so extremely beautiful, I'd never seen anyone so beautiful before but the aura that danced around her body, twinkling in the sun made her look like an angel.
 
  She was enchanting and it was clear that everyone around her felt the same as they stopped to look at her. A slightly older looking Carter walked from my parents house and his face lit up as she squeals and runs to him. She jumps into his arms and he catches her spinning her around
 
  "Daddy daddy daddy!"
 
  "Well hello beautiful princess"
 
  "Will you come play tea party with me and mr Branson?"
 
  His face falls, he clearly did not enjoy that idea as he glares at someone standing beside me. I turn to look and see a handsome man smiling at her sweetly. He must have been in his early 20's and I felt my stomach drop in sadness. Leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
 
  "I'll play tea party with you and mummy after mr Branson leaves, he's very busy and should leave"
