  "Yes she is. So as you know she's the most important thing"
 
  I frown shaking my head
 
  "No actually I'm not, we both are important but dangerous if we are apart. If we are together there is no reason not to live in peace."
 
  She nods her head looking at Daniel, he looks really nervous as she smiles picking up her cutlery. She clears her throat
 
  "You will need to forgive me, I'm not sure what you are or what you can do so if I seem awkward it's because i've never met a supernatural before but I hope we can be fast friends"
 
  I grin reaching over the table and I silently read her. I was right she was mugged as a teenager, it shook her up a bit and helped change her views on a lot of things.
 
  But she really was kind and pure to the core, very sensible and she loved to listen to all sides before making a decision or stepping into an argument but she only ever did it to achieve peace and stop fighting between friends.
 
  She was a sweetheart and I could tell she had a huge attraction to daniel. When I pull back I pull back grinning.
 
  "We are Lycan, but that doesn't matter, all that matters is that we will be friends. Now tell us a bit about yourself"
 
  I dig back into my food after nodding to Daniel slightly, his face split out into a grin like he was waiting for my approval. To that I can undoubtedly willingly give.
 
  Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, we were now in Switzerland and I was well and truly ready to return home. I missed my parents and pack, I missed letting my wolf free and allowing her the room and freedom to just run. My training schedule had not got any easier, plus add 2 more hours of practice using my powers and I needed a holiday from my holiday.
 
  but on the other hand being free to do what we please when we please is a whole other story.
 
  We would be returning home in a weeks time to attend ellas wedding day. So Carter promised to ease up on all things training this week. Not completely but lowering his expectations considerably.
 
  I hear whining as my eyes open, I jump up from bed as ghost moans crawling across the floor I frown climbing out and opening the balcony to sit by his side.
 
  "What is it ghost?"
  
  He whimpers again as I light a smoke, Cleo surges forward
 
  "Something is wrong"
 
  She tells me, that's when every hair on my body stood to attention just as I saw a flicker from the treeline, the sun hitting something shiny so I move dropping my smoke and I return inside and I try to do what I had practiced and I looked through all possible futures landing on a few separate More likely ones. Ones where people try to take me. I jump running back to bed and I push on Carter to wake him
 
  "Mmm what is it?"
 
  He says groggy then he growls sitting straight up
 
  "Where? Show me"
 
  He demands jumping from bed, I point in the direction discreetly as he takes a seat just as the sun hits the glass again. Carter growls low moving out of the way and he runs to the closet
 
  "Get dressed baby"
 
  He tells me panicking so I do what I'm told, I need to stay calm so I throw on sweats, a baggy hoodie and some sneakers. It wasn't cold or warm here, not that either bothered me but cosy clothes are best for moving quickly.
 
  "What are we going to do?"
 
  I ask him as I pull on my socks and shoes, he purges his lips as he dresses himself
 
  "Pack and leave, but first I need to lead them away from us"
 
  "Who are they?"
 
  He sighs taking a seat opposite me
 
  "Our kind are not all that welcome in this country, this is where the legends and stories of our kind started out so they have always had hunters. It's the only place in the world that would tolerate them but usually they won't bother our kind if they are innocent but because of us being all over the tv and the things I did when you were gone have been talked about. I'm not sure if they mean us any harm or they are just keeping an eye on us but either way we need to leave"
 
  He pulls out his phone as I pull out our luggage and I start to pack everything up. My luggage had more than doubled since the start of our honeymoon, shopping in the best stores with the most amazing brands. I was an extremely fortunate person and I hope I never take it for granted the way I did as a child.
 
  Somebody knocks the door as I rush around pulling stuff out and packing it up. Carter let's them in as he talks on the phone. It's Daniel and Gia. She was such a wonderful person and she made Daniel so happy. He walks her in looking so worried.
 
  "Can Gia stay with you while we go Carly? We are all packed and ready to go"
 
  "Ofcourse, come in and make yourself comfortable I'm just finishing up the last bits"
 
  We were staying in a small house on a mountain, a tiny town was close by but we flew in because it was easier than driving. Our plane would be ready and waiting for us in the small airport. Rob comes in next taking a seat and yawning as Carter hangs up the phone. He looks around the room to us and he looks sad
 
  "Rob you stay here with the girls and me and Daniel will draw them away or get close enough to find out what they want. Either way go to the kitchen and get some breakfast because we will be out of here hopefully within the hour and you won't have a chance to eat. Is that everything babe?"
 
  He looks to me pointing at my luggage as I finish it off zipping everything up neatly
 
  "Yes I think it is"
 
  "Are you sure I shouldn't stay with the girls?"
 
  "No, nothing will happen and even if it did Carly is on guard and so is ghost and Rob. She has access to all her powers and she now knows how to use them so they will be no match for them, I have faith in them that they can do this"
 
  Carter tells me and Daniel, kneeling down in front of me and holding my face in his hands.
 
  "I do you know, have faith in you, I know you could take them"
 
  He kisses me again then pulls back and looks to Daniel
 
  "Ok let's go"
 
  He kisses my head again
 
  "I love you Carly cù"
 
  "I love you too"
 
  I was surprised by his sudden faith in me, he would normally surround me with guards but now he said I could do it and something inside me wanted to please him and prove him right. I stand up taking Gia's hand and I walk out of the room pulling her with me with a huge grin on my face.
 
  Carter smirks at me but says nothing as Gia follows, she was so nervous and afraid so I eased her nerves a little but not enough that she would know what I was doing. Daniel hadn't told her much and I didn't want to contradict anything he had already said. The boys leave and I start breakfast
 
  "Let me do it carly"
 
  "No you should relax a little plus you always cook"
 
  She smirks sitting down beside me
 
  "That's because it's my job"
 
  I roll my eyes
 
  "I have missed your sauce and pancakes, oh please make them"
 
  Rob tells me excitedly, making me laugh
 
  "Yeah I miss them too, I'll make them"
 
  He claps his hands together and his face breaks out into a big grin. I get to work whipping up enough for everyone, as I finish I feel a pull on the emotions around me, someone was close. I look to Rob
 
  "Someone is here"
 
  His eyes widen and he gets up as I focus on their emotions, we were surrounded
 
  "We are surrounded I can feel them"
 
  "I know I'm on my way back. You have got this babe"
 
  I look to Gia
 
  "Go to the bathroom and lock the door and don't come out until we tell you too ok?"
 
  She nods, grabbing her water and smokes and she runs to the bathroom as I turn everything off. I feel them cave in, there are 10 of them.
 
  "There are 10 of them"
 
  Robs eyes snap to mine as his fear muddies his aura. I grab his hand and squeeze it. My powers won't work on him but everyone needs a hand squeeze when they are nervous. He smiles, squeezing back as my heart starts to hammer in my chest. Then suddenly all hell breaks loose, the windows around us shatter as a noise that you can hardly hear blows them out. It's like the frequency changed and made the air around us ripple. Rob groans falling to his knees as he holds his head.
