Since then I have been hearing voices again and again. "I come and kill" it was the basilisk working its way through the pipes.
I just wrote a letter to my father.
"Everything is going well so far."
That was the last sentence I wrote on it.
I gave the letter to my owl and it flew away.
The whole Slytherin group knew what had happened and everyone supported me.
I was walking into the common room when Crappe and Goyle came in.
"Hey Draco" I walked over to him and sat on the sofa. Mattheo and Pansy came running.
Mattheo sat right next to me.
"Hey Mattheo, I wanted to be next to Y/N today"
"Yes, now I'm just sitting here"
"Guys, where is Theodor?"
"Should come soon," Draco said.
Mattheo and Pansy started arguing again.
"Hey Draco, have you heard anything from Snape?"
" No"
Then Crabbe and Goyle came towards us.
They stood in front of us.
"What do you want? Why are you wearing glasses?"
"Just for reading"
"I didn't know you could read. So what's up?"
"Do you know who opened the Chamber of Secrets?"
He looked at me in surprise. I understood what he was telling me it wasn't Crappe and Goyle.
"We've told you that before, we don't know," I said.
"Now Fuck Off"
They both walked out of the common room.
"And who do you think it was?" I asked
"So I guess Potter and Wealsey."
"Come on, let's go outside"
The whole group stood up and Mattheo put an arm around my shoulder
"And Y/N, how's school going?"
"Okay, how about you?"
"okay too" as we were getting out of the top we saw Collin a Gryffindor and the headless Nick petrified in the corridor.
Harry, Ron and Hermione stood in front of it.
Many students were already gathering.
Then came Dumbledore.
"All students in their rooms immediately."
We went back to the common room.
“And what are you doing during the Christmas holidays?” I asked the group.
"I'm going on vacation. Mattheo, Draco and Theodor are coming too, you can come too"
"No, everything's fine"
I was a little sad because they wanted to invite me just days before but my father wouldn't have allowed it anyway. Because of too many meetings where I always have to be present.
"I'll be right back." I got up and went into the forbidden part of the library.
I was looking for a book about the Dark Mark and whether it would be possible to get rid of it.
I think I should talk to my father about it.
Hermione suddenly appeared behind me.
“ Hey Y/N, what are you looking for?”
"Ah a book about Slytherin."
" About what ?"
"About the Chamber of Secrets"
“Have you found out anything yet?”
"Not much yet but there is some information I would be interested to know if it is really true"
"I can help you, we can work together"
"I have a suspicion that it could be a basilisk. Since they can petrify people and Moaning Mirte told me that she looked into two snakes' eyes and died that way."
"Wow, you're much further along than us.
Can I ask you something and you have to answer honestly, please"
I was so good at lying, you could never tell.
" Yes definitely"
"Was it someone from your Slytherin group"
"It definitely wasn't Mattheo, Draco, Pansy and Theodor, but I don't know about the others, sorry I can't help you."
"Everything's fine. Can I take a quick look at your arm?"
" Yes why?"
She took my arm and held out her wand. She mumbled some saying. She looked up and smiled.
" What did you just do?"
"I checked to see if you were a Death Eater"
" Why? Do not you trust me?"
I feigned sadness.
"Sorry Y/N I just had to make sure"
She went. I turned around just barely to hide my smile.
I walked out of the library after Hermione and down to the basement.
There I went into the kitchen and a little house elf came running towards me.
"Delphi. Hi, how are you?"
"Good and you Y/N?"
" Also good"
"How's your father?"
"Very well, the holidays are coming soon and I'll see him again"
"Do you come too? "
"No, unfortunately I have to stay at Hogwarts but I'll look after the house"
"Okay then, we'll see each other again"
I hugged her and walked out of the kitchen.
