It's been almost a month since we've been locked here.
The summer holidays start in 1 month.
There were quite a few arguments between Michael and John.
We haven't seen a single guard or heard anything from below since this month.
I was just sitting on the window sill and looking out.
With summer holidays coming soon, Mattheo and Draco will soon have to kill Dumbeldor.
It drove me crazy that I didn't know anything from the outside.
Our programming from the wizarding world was turned off and we could only watch Muggle stuff.
They knew that if we watched it we would learn things they didn't want us to know, so they turned it off.
All the boys were training in the private gym.
I sat on my windowsill and looked out.
I could see so far from up here even the village where we ran to.
I looked down at the yard.
Below others were working with black magic.
Flames came everywhere.
There were only mini flames from up here.
Guards stood around the group.
Quite a few guards.
A few looked up at me.
They knew I was watching them.
It would have to be group 2 that was currently training.
I looked up into the forest.
Everything was quiet there.
Only the roofs of the village were visible.
From the gym there was a large window onto the other side of Iysland.
I looked down again.
There were two guards standing there just looking up at me.
“ y/n?” Came James' voice suddenly.
I turned around and looked at the door.
"yes?"
James came into the living room.
"Are you still looking out the window"
He came next to me and looked out and down.
"Even the guards are already watching you"
I had to smile.
"Are you coming with us? We want to play a drinking game without alcohol?"
I looked him in the eyes.
"What's it like out there right now?"
"There's probably fear and terror going around. There's a reason why they turned off this transmitter."
James looked me in the eyes and then took my hand.
" Come"
I got up and followed James into a room.
John and Michael were arguing about something again.
"So at some point you'll actually kill each other" said Robert.
Julian and William stood at the window and looked out.
Me and James went to them.
"Whom are you watching?" James asked.
"Group three as they miserably try to control the flames"
It was just a small window.
"We can also watch group two" I said
"Nope, we don't observe any more" said Julian.
He turned around and stood in front of the window.
William went to James and both watched Michael and John arguing.
I pushed past Julian and looked out the window.
Two arms wrapped around my waist.
"You're not watching anyone else but us" Julian whispered.
I was lifted into the air.
James and William stood in front of the window and smiled at Julian.
I tried to push his arms away from my waist.
His grip only tightened.
"That's unfair"
"What, that I'm stronger than you or what?"
Julian smiled at me.
He sat down on the bed and I was automatically pulled down with him.
I sat on his lap and his arms were still around my waist.
William and James came over, half laughing, and sat down next to us.
"You won't be able to get out of Julian's gripp that easily" said James.
I looked at him insulted
James started laughing.
Michael hit John completely in the face with his fist.
" IT IS ENOUGH!!!" Julian shouted.
His voice had this dangerous undertone.
Me, James and William all twitched as he screamed.
Michael and John immediately looked at Julian and stopped moving.
"You're acting like stupid little children and it's annoying so pull yourself together or go to your rooms and don't think about starting an argument in here again"
Michael and John immediately walked away from each other.
"Thank you" said Robert.
"Sorry to scare you" he said to me, James and William.
"So should we play now?" John asked.
"Yes, just start"
William and James stood up and went to the table.
They had beer ponk set up but only with water.
Julian's hand stroked my arm.
Then he loosened his grip and I sat next to him.
"Do you want to be the last person or do I have to?" Julian asked.
"You're welcome to sacrifice yourself" I said
He smiled at me and then stood up.
"Then I'll sacrifice myself"
He went forward to the table.
The groups were clear.
John, Michael and Robert versus James, William and Julian.
They started playing and I sneaked over to the window.
I noticed looks on me, three looks to be precise.
I walked normally to the window and tried to be as inconspicuous as possible.
I looked out the window.
There was a group below.
One person burned completely.
I looked up.
The sky had white clouds everywhere. It would soon start snowing again.
The teacher shouted at the inmates below.
I couldn't understand a word.
Suddenly I saw William sneaking up on me through the reflection in the window.
I had to smile.
"You can be seen through the window"
William iced his step.
“But still with us in the world”
I turned around and looked at him.
"No, you didn't notice. I'm not even here anymore"
Me and William both started laughing.
"And saw anything interesting outside?" John asked
"Yes, a completely burning person"
Everyone started laughing.
" Really?" James asked, laughing.
"Yes"
Julian came next to me and looked out.
"As if they don't even have their flames under control?"
I made a flame appear in my hand.
“Do they turn off the alarm when there’s class?” I asked
"Maybe or it's a silent alarm with us"
Julian flashed a flame in his hand.
"It's nice, isn't it? Black magic is something completely normal, why is it always considered evil?"
The others also created a flame.
"Actually, black magic shouldn't be more dangerous than normal magic. I mean, you can kill people with anything, so why should black magic be more dangerous than normal magic?" John asked.
I looked at my flame
She was so beautiful, so calm but also so free and not influenced by anyone.
"Why are we even here?" Michael asked "We should be out there, free, not locked up here doing nothing all day
When was the last time we went outside or when was the last time we opened the windows and felt the cold air?"
"It's been a long time" John replied.
"It's been far too long" said Robert
"If you think about it, a month isn't that long. In comparison, we all have lifelong lives and are still under 20.
That means we will die at about 75 if things go well and now you can count the months" I said
"I'd rather not. It's been far too many months"
"There are 12 months in 1 year. We calculate this to be 20 years, up to 75 it will be 55 years. 55 times 12 is"
I had to think for a moment.
"We still have 660 months here until we're 75"
Everyone looked at me confused.
"You calculated that so quickly in your head?"
"Simple Math"
"Not easy math, but yes," said James
"What else would you call simple math?" I asked
"5 times 5 or 20 plus 30" said James
"Why is 20 plus 100 too difficult for you?" William asked, laughing.
He immediately received a punch on the arm.
"Those were just examples"
"You can't talk your way out of that anymore" said James, still laughing.
"Oh just be quiet. Everyone in this room knows what I mean"
"Well, not really, explain it again" said Julian, laughing
He immediately received a fist
"Not funny," James said offended
"It's funny"
Suddenly I got a stomach ache. I just ignored it.
We sat there the whole evening and just talked like we always did.
It was getting late, almost 1am.
The boys were talking about something.
Suddenly I noticed that I was getting my period.
I got up and went out of the room to my bathroom.
Luckily, I had what felt like a lifetime supply of tampons and pads.
After a short while I came out of the bathroom and laid down on my bed.
After a short while Julian also came into the room.
He closed the door.
"Why did you leave?"
“I got my period” I said
" Just now?"
"Yes" I replied
Julian didn't answer.
I looked at him.
He had this oh help look on his face.
"Oh, I'm not that bad"
He came to me and sat on the bed.
"Well then it's best to go to sleep so that you'll be well rested tomorrow."
I laid further back and looked at the ceiling.
Julian laid down next to me.
I looked at him.
"What if we're locked up here forever? We'll never be able to feel the cold outside or the wind again.
What if at some point we hate each other because we have nothing to do in here and everyone just starts arguing?
Even John and Michael argue all the time and it's only been a month since we've been up here."
"Then we have to try to keep the peace in the house as long as we can."
His arm draped over my stomach.
Tomorrow the stomach pain would be extreme again.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
After about three hours I suddenly woke up with contractions and cramps.
I curled up and tried to think away the pain.
Julian was still sleeping normally.
The cramps got so bad that I got up to look out the window for a bit.
As I stood my vision went black and I just fell over.
My vision immediately became clearer again.
The door opened just a minute later.
James and William stood next to me.
I half rolled over on the floor.
Julian sat on the edge of the bed and looked down.
"This is so unfair. Why don't you have that shit"
"What?" James asked confused.
"She's on her period" Julian replied.
I wrapped my arms around my stomach.
"Why did you even just get up?" Julian asked.
“Somehow i have to try to let go of the pain.”
"What just happened?" William asked.
"She stood up and immediately fell over again" said Julian.
I noticed how they exchanged looks with Julian and then they both disappeared again.
Julian knelt next to me.
" so bad?" He whispered.
I just nodded.
"It's these cramps. Not the stomach pain at all, but these stupid cramps," I whispered
I pushed myself up off the ground.
Julian's hands wrapped around my stomach and pulled me up.
"Why do women have to have this shit but not men?"
Julian sat down on the bed next to me.
"That's a good question"
His arm went around my shoulders.
"Hey, in a few days they'll be fine again. Look forward to the time afterwards"
After 10 minutes of sitting there in silence we went back to bed.
Julian's arm wrapped around my body and pulled me closer to him.
" Better?"
I nodded.
"then that's good"
Hours passed and I just couldn't fall asleep.
Every time I tried to fall asleep, something woke me up.
Then one of the boys in another room started snoring
I turned around and looked at Julian.
He slept deeply and soundly.
Suddenly the pain really kicked in.
I wanted to just scream but then everyone would hate me out of this house tomorrow.
I waited all night just for time to pass.
I was finally able to fall asleep around 6:30.
Suddenly the bell rang.
Unfortunately it wasn't turned off when we got up here.
"Good morning Sweethearth at least got some sleep"
I put my head under the pillow.
"Just as I was falling asleep, this damn bell rang."
Julian's hand stroked my back.
"Of course that's bad. I'll go into the living room and see if we have any painkillers left."
I just nodded, which is probably not visible to him.
I noticed him get up from the bed and walk out of the room.
My stomach pain started coming back.
It was constant abdominal pain with cramps in between
